### 1/5 — Bad

*2015-02-27*

This is for tiny children just to play with. Don't waste your money.

**Developer response:** We are not sure what you mean by 'tiny children'', but the app is designed for students in the elementary grades K-8. It provides a tool for teacher to help meet typical curriculum objectives. Students can set up their own graphs using data that they have collected or that can use randomly generated graphs for examples and discussion. A teacher's guide is provided here: https://www.venturaes.com/ipadapps/guides/GraphPower.pdf. The guid explains the many classroom uses for GraphPower.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2013-07-09*

As I was trying to demonstrate histograms to my 6th graders, this graphing app did not even display bin sizes for the x axis. The histogram feature is not representative of what a true histogram is and especially the expectations set forth by CCSS as advertised. Wish I could get my hard earned $3.00 from my teacher salary back! I can't use this in my classroom.

**Developer response:** If the data is set up properly GraphPower will generate a histogram. One useful purpose of GraphPower is for students to see that just because you can make a graph with some data it doesn't mean that the graph is useful. Please look at the sample graphs provided with the iTunes listing for GraphPower to see how to set up a histogram. We also have a teacher's guide that provides more information. ### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2013-01-16*

I'm very disappointed by this app. I was lead to believe that my student would be able to create their own graph and enter their own data. Instead, they just interpret the information given....which is too advanced for my first graders. I would not have paid the 2.99 for this app if I had realized information could not be input.

**Developer response:** Student's absolutely can enter their own data. Simply tap the erase to clear any existing data and then tap the chart icon to begin typing in your data. There is a teachers guide that helps explain how to use the app with first graders. It is located here:

### 4/5 — Nice app

*2013-01-29*

This is a very intuitive app that is perfect for my midde school special needs kids. You are able to input data into a table, adjust the x-axis and y-axis labels, titles, and key. You can also switch back and forth between the different types of graphs. I just wish the picture feature (it can take a picture of your graph) worked more consistently.
