Idk who came up with this idea to make everything on an app. Imagine you carry tons of stuff and trying to open the door n u have to somehow get ur hands free and click buttons. It also doesn’t work when you are have underground parking with bad internet service. Technology is supposed to make things more convenient and easier but this one is doing the complete opposite. Whoever created this has to be out of their mind or they are making it for a different purpose in mind. Whoever wrote 5 stars are mostly the owners of the building who don’t even use it on a daily basis and live in the building. ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE *2026-04-22, version 2.9.2* This has to be the most garbage app on entire App Store. It only works half the time and is so slow. It takes like 30 seconds for the card to register on the reader and that’s if it even does. Not to mention the fact it isn’t compatible with Apple wallet is stupid. Perfect example of technology making things harder than they have to be and that’s coming from someone born in 2004 ### 5/5 — Great app tbh *2026-04-18, version 2.9.2* I use it daily for building access. Being able to unlock doors, let in guests, and submit work requests all from one app is super convenient. Makes everything feel more modern and seamless. ### 5/5 — 5/5 *2026-04-17* Was having issues with my lock, but the grata team was helpful and explained to me how to use it. I now can move easily throughout my building ### 4/5 — Surprisingly Helpful *2026-04-17, version 2.9.2* My building just recently switched to Grata, I was very against it at first. I was stressed about security and what would happen if my phone died. But honestly I was pleasantly surprised. It has made it so easy for me to move around my building. I used to forget my fob all the time when I would go to grab my mail and now all I need to make sure I have is my phone and I can get through all the doors and back into my unit. Also you can give access to your unit like a guest key, when I go visit family for holidays I have people come water my plants. It was super cool because I could see when they came and went, plus could just delete their access, didn’t have to worry about picking a key back up. It would be cool if they added the digital key to the Apple wallet. That would make the experience more seamless, because I wouldn’t have to go directly into the app. But it’s not too bad. Overall, if your building is implementing this and you are scared, the system is easy to learn and became helpful for me in my building. ### 5/5 — Revolutionary *2026-04-17, version 2.9.2* Finally my phone is my key to the whole building, I don’t have to carry a dozen key with me all the time and get around the building everywhere with just using my phone, I’m also able to see cameras and control thermostats all from the same app! ### 5/5 — Grata *2026-03-26* I love this app!
