## What is Gratitude Scroll?

Your apps unlock when you say what you're grateful for. Out loud.

Gratitude Scroll is the app blocker built on a single, stubborn idea: before you sink into the scroll, take a moment to notice the good. It's not another timer you swipe past. To open Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, whatever's stealing your hours, you speak three things you're grateful for first.

No honor-system buttons. No "just 5 more minutes." Your own voice is the key.

• Choose the apps you want to lock (you pick, we never see which ones)
• When you reach for a locked app, Sprout asks what you're grateful for
• Hold the mic and say three things. Stuck? Tap Ideas for a gentle prompt
• Saying it earns Scroll Coins, and coins buy your screen time: 20 coins opens your apps for 10 minutes, then they quietly re-lock

Doomscrolling is automatic. Gratitude is deliberate. Research shows expressing gratitude does far more than just thinking it, and saying it out loud makes it land. — YOUR PRIVACY —
Your voice is transcribed on your device by Apple's built-in speech engine. Audio is never recorded, never uploaded, and never leaves your phone. Your gratitude entries are stored privately on-device, and the apps you choose to block are stored on-device too. We can't see any of it.

Gratitude Scroll requires Screen Time (Family Controls) permission to lock and unlock the apps you choose, and microphone plus speech recognition permission for the spoken ritual.

Gratitude Scroll offers an auto-renewing subscription with a free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.
