I “upgraded” this app just now and the upgrade is a lock on the door! clicking restore purchases seems to not do anything. However, it lacks a lot of basic functions: easy transition from one question to another, progress tracking, offline access, etc. But as far as value, this is no exception; great little app for the price. ### 4/5 — Excellent app! *2013-09-15* This app is excellent for anyone needing a basic math review of topics on the GRE. It's not enough for complete test prep -- actual test questions are much more generally much complex and variable than what you'll see in this app -- but if it's been a long time since you've used high school math I HIGHLY recommend this clear, understandable presentation of the basics. Only complaint is that there's no way to track which sections & lessons you've covered. If the app could allow you to track progress through the lessons that would be a big help! ### 4/5 — Good review *2013-06-14* The reason I like this app is because I always get stumped by those word problems and never really know how to approach them. This app basically goes through tutorial videos of everything you may encounter at snail pace so you understand it. I hope it helps me with GRE test!!! ### 5/5 — Clear and concise explanations, brush up on the essentials *2013-03-05* I was able to brush up on a lot of math I learned years ago, it's important to have a good approach in solving problems and this app teaches you that. Everything is well-explained and the practice problems help you cement your understanding. I only wish they would give you the option of downloading the lesson videos. ### 5/5 — Wonderful for a quick refresher! *2013-02-07* My wife was preparing for the GRE and had become upset because she couldn't remember some of the algebra and geometry she had learned way back when. This helped remind her of basic math concepts so she will feel more confident when she takes the test this spring. She was always good at math (a mathlete, if you will), but after years of not using it, the knowledge was hard to retrieve. She recommends this affordable app for a quick refreshing of math skills, and also mentions that it would probably be helpful for moms and dads assisting their children with homework! ### 5/5 — I wish I had this app years ago when I was studying for the GMAT *2013-02-04, version 4.0* This app is so awesome. I am the type of person that barely passed math in high school so needless to say I need some extra help with math. If I get stuck, I just re-watch the lesson, something you could not do in school. My only Two critiques are...1) Have a way for me to check off the lessons as I complete them, and 2) provide a means for me to do my work on the screen as opposed to in my head or in a separate note book. ### 5/5 — Incredible *2012-11-17* I've struggled with math throughout my life and relied on intense studying to get by. Other than private tutoring, which I could not afford, I've tried everything under the sun with little progress. This application is incredibly helpful and easy to use. It really makes me feel confident about doing math. I'm really enjoying it, too. Thank you so much for this program. ### 5/5 — This app is the best *2012-11-13* Like another user said, it's just as if I'm in class. It was worth the $10 I paid. Unfortunately I had to download it on my mothers iPad bc I was straining my eyes on my iPhone (#firstworldproblem). As someone from the state of Florida, having a weak math background was the perfect match for this app. The instructors in the videos are great with step-by-step explanations via audio and visual, including supplements of the problems WITH solutions. Had the app since early-October and planning to take the GRE mid December. I'm feeling ready than ever. I do use the worksheet and appreciate how they are broken down into specific categories. The answers are easy to access. Also enjoy the practice session multiple choice mode. The work button does an excellent job of showing the proper steps to the correct answer. Nothing that's covered on the GRE. It said that I needed the Internet to watch a video, even though I was connected to the Internet. The app won't reload...any suggestions? However, when I needed some expanded information, I had to go online to look it up. I came across some great websites with much more detailed explanations. This app was helpful as a very brief reminder of some things that I had forgotten, but absolutely not worth the price. I decided to apply for a doctorate program that requires the GRE. It was last minute and so I had 1 week to brush up on my math skills. Eek! I enrolled in a princeton review program for few hundred dollars and then figured out I couldn't access it on my iPad-which was the primary tool i had for studying. So I searched and found this ap (after trying a few others I didn't like.) The lessons were straightforward and easy to follow. I took my test today and increased my math score by 30 percent.
