While the choices aren’t too appealing, it is a pleasant surprise to find this deal in the Great Eastern Rewards app which I have not noticed before. Staffs at Nex were pleasant and efficient even though there was a big crowd during dinner time. Thanks GE for this gesture. Other GE client touch points should follow, especially with some modern nomenclature consistency. However, the name change doesn’t change any of the facts why this App is getting so many 1 star reviews. We can see GE is trying so hard to connect with the modern times and trying to attract and retain clients. But something is still giving me hints that everything is being decided by some old folks at GE or OCBC. Lose a button folks, spend some real marketing budget and make things more relevant and attractive! If give rewards is so difficult, not sure there will be how hard to claim with Great Eastern. To do that you have to download this app and sign up for an account. But after you have done that, you would find that there is NO complimentary birthday reward. So likely just trying to get people to download this app. It's completely useless.
