After starting a video lecture you don’t see any navigation controls. Every time you have to kill the app and go to main screen and start over. ### 2/5 — Works sometimes yes, most of the time no *2025-07-30, version 8.1.26* You can access the menus but it keeps loading the videos with no answer, just the icon of loading… you must erase and reinstall the app, it works well few times and fails again… really annoying ### 2/5 — Courses are good, but app crashes a lot *2025-07-08* Sometimes opening the video in full screen crashes the app. There's no resolution settings for ios. No skip or previous buttons. When you reach somehow, not any thumbnails of video, just texts. You can’t predict where back button will take you. No user personalisation, if you don’t want caption, you have to manually off on every video. I wish I had a automatic landscape mode and a picture and Picture in Picture video option. ### 4/5 — Please add auto rotate *2025-04-11* Please add an auto rotate feature for the videos, it’s frustrating to have to switch back-and-forth to take the quizzes and watch the video and then force it into full screen mode to go into landscape view. ### 4/5 — Mostly good, some annoying quirks *2024-09-15, version 8.0.14* The app is pretty good to use overall. The navigation is fairly easy. The ability to change the speed of the videos is nice. The interface is tidy and professional. One annoying quirk is that, when using the app on iPad, the videos are displayed landscape, but all other interactions with the app are forced into a portrait orientation. This is a very frustrating usability aspect because I keep having to rotate my iPad from landscape to portrait and back again in order to complete lessons and quizzes. ### 1/5 — Concerning Customer Experience with Great Learning App *2024-08-10* I am writing to express serious concerns regarding my recent experience with the Great Learning app. After referring over 100 individuals, as per their terms and conditions, to avail two courses valued at ₹15,000 each, we expected to receive the promised benefits. Unfortunately, despite fulfilling our part of the agreement, we encountered unprofessional behavior from the company. Calls were abruptly disconnected, and subsequent attempts to reach out via other communication channels have been ignored. Moreover, it has come to our attention that the personal data provided during sign-up, including phone numbers and email IDs, is being tracked and potentially sold to third-party consultancies abroad, raising significant privacy concerns. This experience has left us feeling cheated and misled. I strongly urge potential users to be cautious and thoroughly investigate before engaging with this platform. Poor quality audio and video. Narrator has a thick and hard to decipher accent. Very disappointed. No way to contact them for a refund. There are better training videos for free on YouTube. I tried this multiple times ### 1/5 — Very bad support *2024-09-02* I paid 1.75lac for software development course and completed the course in given time. But after that I was not allowed to upload my resume as I reached my limit which is 3 by the way. So for 1 year I had added different skill set in my resume but they are not allowing me update my resume. So I invested so much money in this and I was forced to use my previous and old resume to apply for job, when the industry is changing drastically and you need new skills to upgrade. However, after enrolling, I’m asked to pay ₹299 to get the certificate. This was not mentioned before enrolling, and the original course page clearly states “Certificate from Great Learning” under the free plan. Could you please clarify if a free certificate is available as stated? Most of the free courses are excellent and they come with a certificate. You also get a certain number of coins after each successful course that can be used to unlock a premium course.
