### 1/5 — Why are they trying to charge me?

*2018-04-12, version 3.183*

Why are they trying to get 99p off me per month to check train times? Greedy!

### 2/5 — How fond train Time and price ?

*2018-03-20*

Unclear

### 1/5 — Useless

*2018-02-27, version 3.183*

Hugely restricted functionality to things that are freely available on the website. Total joke that they are trying to charge for things that would be helpful to their customers that are free elsewhere.

### 1/5 — This is dreadful customer service

*2018-01-27*

How can a train company charge for seeing how late and unreliable their trains are!!!! If it’s not bad enough selling your kidneys to pay for a season ticket you then have to pay more to check how late it’s going to be and which service is replace placed by an undersized bus!!

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2018-01-10, version 3.183*

This app wants to charge 99p weekly for less info than is available is on free apps such as Trainline and National rail enquiries. It just another example of this company trying to rip us off again. AVOID.

### 1/5 — 0 stars

*2018-01-04*

Basically you have to pay to be told train times - disgusting should be free like national rail. Especially if you are like me and travel from a remote station with no staff to let you know anything when there are numerous issues weekly. Terrible app & train service. Don’t bother using

### 1/5 — Pointless

*2017-11-16, version 3.183*

You have to pay 99p/week to get basic functionality that the national rail app already does for free...
No thanks.

### 2/5 — Limited option for planning

*2017-11-13*

Whilst the app offers me train times this is limited to the next 30minutes, so when I live more than 30 minutes from the station I cannot plan my trip far enough in advance. As a disabled user planning is everything!

### 1/5 — Very basic information

*2017-11-11*

Only shows a few of the next journeys and no full timetable. Also pushed you to go to the paid version with weekly subscription. Poor functionality and information - avoid it

### 1/5 — Step back

*2017-09-15, version 3.182*

Functionality has been stripped back in the latest version pushing users towards a paid version for the stripped functionality.

### 1/5 — Rip Off

*2017-04-06*

It isn't enough for Greater Anglia to rip me off for using their trains but also their app. There are many other apps that offer the same features plus more but they are trying to charge people 99p a week to see train times! This information is available for free all over the place and it is disgusting that they are charging for it. The app isn't even good!!! It looks terrible, has very basic functionality and the UX is awful.

This app should not be available on the store and should be taken down for trying to rip people off!

### 1/5 — Do not download this app!

*2017-01-12, version 3.181*

Keeps billing me 99p every week, have deleted app and no way of stopping them billing me!

### 1/5 — You what!!!

*2016-11-14, version 3.180*

This app, published by the train company, so you can get the train you need, on their network - buying a ticket to travel in the process - WANTS YOU TO PAY TO SEE THE TRAIN TIMES!!! I have never been so amazed. Utter stupidity. Deleted.

### 3/5 — Mr

*2016-10-04, version 3.165*

### 4/5 — Good app!

*2016-09-27, version 3.165*

Would like notifications for delays!

### 4/5 — W7

*2016-09-23, version 3.165*

Easy to set up and use. Accurate updates so far...

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — One star

*2024-12-02*

One star for this app

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2022-12-19*

This app was not very good to begin with, as many others have commented the fact it wants to charge you when we pay hundreds of pounds a month for a season ticket, is a joke. For the last 2 weeks now though it has stopped working on my phone entirely so it has become totally useless

### 1/5 — Shockingly bad

*2022-09-29*

One of the worse apps I’ve ever seen
1) it doesn’t tell you the stops the twin will be making (unless you pay for this)
2) it tells you the wrong platform to catch train from (it was platform 11 at Liverpool Street and not platform 2)

Get one of the other free train apps instead.

### 1/5 — Money

*2022-09-02*

Train fares are not fair neither is this Application sadly for any worthwhile information it’s MONEY

### 1/5 — Would i pay to see a menu in a restaurant?

*2022-07-20*

It’s like walking into a restaurant and being charged to look at the menu. How on earth can they charge ‘their’ customers a fee (don’t care how small) to see basic travel information about a train they have mostly likely or are most likely paying Greater Anglia to travel.

Incredible poor customer service

### 1/5 — Scam!

*2022-05-05*

This is not the official app don’t be fooled!

### 1/5 — 3rd Party App - not good

*2021-06-22*

Avoid. It’s not greater Anglia and will just ask you for money to view a free timetable. Deleted.

### 1/5 — Unusable!

*2020-02-14, version 3.219*

Advert pop ups make this app irritating and unusable and why I would want to send it on to an unsuspecting friend in order to delete the annoying adverts is beyond me!

### 1/5 — Are you having a laugh?

*2019-08-06*

I pay £1000s for an annual pass and you want me to pay on top of that to see what time my train will arrive and/or if there are any delays???! It’s scandalous! If you at least run a service that was on time I wouldn’t need an app in the first place!
Please at least make the app free for customers with annual or monthly passes! Sickening!!

### 1/5 — Cost £52 a year? Rip-off pricing!

*2018-12-10*

Way too expensive for train info which is available free elsewhere. Is this the genuine Abellio Greater Anglia app? If so it’s a scandal.

### 5/5 — Good

*2016-08-22, version 3.165*

Nice and easy to use, layout it simple but effective

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2015-05-24*

Just needs option to buy and see ticket prices also bike, bus and taxis. Plus station facilities. Only for the abellio line not all the stations as that would take far too long.
