Just wish there was a way to view my pets upcoming appointments. The “helpful” suggestions in the feed, locking out vet clinics that are aligned.. and now a persistent “Welcome to your GreatPetCare pet parental portal” flow that I can’t get rid of - making the app officially useless. I’ve been using this app for over 10 years.. I get the screens asking if I want to merge with my vet’s records; I filled them out and get to the the last one that has the button to “go to the portal”, however when you click it, nothing happens. You are just stuck on that screen. I’ve tried closing it out and starting over but the same thing keeps happening. Frustrating! ### 3/5 — great features but buggy *2025-01-05, version 6.0.3* i love the features on this app. after trying a bunch of pet apps, i landed on this one because it has all the things i wanted. but it’s also very buggy. i’m often having to delete and redownload the app. sometimes i’ll login & it will treat it like a new profile, starting at square one. sometimes my dogs profile doesn’t show up. sometimes things wont save it buttons will not work. usually it will fix itself with closing the app and starting it again. sometimes i have to delete it and download it all over again. ### 1/5 — Can’t use it? *2025-01-05, version 6.0.3* I created an account but my vet is not apart of this app so I skipped adding that information and just added my name. It will not send me to the portal. I don’t know why this at had almost 5 stars. ### 2/5 — Latest update broke the app *2024-12-14, version 6.0.1* The health journal won't load anymore, so I can neither watch previous entries nor add new one. Please fix it!! ### 1/5 — Lost all records *2024-12-12, version 6.0.1* I can no longer access my dog’s records that I have been keeping for 3 years. What a waste of an app! Now I can’t share all the details with my new vet. ### 4/5 — So-so *2024-12-10, version 6.0.1* It is quite a basic app, as I only really want to track the date/time things happen that’s fine for me. But, it has issues. The edit feature only actually lets you edit the date or time, bot the content of an event. It will often, at random, lose saved events. It freezes fairly regularly, meaning you have to keep closing and reopening the app. It sometimes will not let you add new events, with no explanation as to why. The buttons simply don’t work. ### 1/5 — Baffling *2024-11-24, version 6.0.0* Was great, but has deleted my pets and their records from the app twice now. ### 2/5 — Not working as expected *2024-11-15, version 5.4.1* - medical records not appearing - not enough options for logging - my pet vomits a lot and I’ve been tracking it but just have to log it under “symptom” - not getting notifications/reminders even when they’re on And lastly, my pet’s profile completely disappeared today. Fun! The potential of this app is great, unfortunately it’s a bad app disguised as a good one. ### 2/5 — My app doesn’t have the same features shown in the App Store *2024-11-02, version 5.4.1* Bummer because it looked like something I’ve been looking for too. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — RX Reorder is ridiculous *2026-07-01, version 6.2.0* I have nine pets, three of whom take regular medications and I use the app to order refills. I click on the individual Pet and then click on prescriptions, but then it brings up all the prescriptions for every Pet I have for every prescription they’ve ever had and I have to scroll through all of them to find the one I want. Why can it not just bring up the Pet that I clicked on and what that Pet has. I hate this app! ### 1/5 — Fantastic idea however way too glitchy *2026-06-03, version 6.1.21* Love this app since it was Paw Print. I have used it religiously. However, I do find that it no longer retains the information that I enter. It will retain some of it and not all of it. If you make changes to information that you’ve entered it does not always update to the new information. I like to record things on my paper planner, but my husky and German shepherd can be a little squirmy and rambunctious in the clinic sometimes so just pulling out my phone one handed is helpful. I wish more vets knew about apps like this. The office and I went back and forth because they weren’t familiar with this system, but in the end they were able to send the records.
