The app is good except there is a fundamental error in the rendering of upper case theta in koines Greek. It is written as Θ, not an O with a line on top.

I got this to practice before I studied abroad and many of the letters names and pronunciations are flat out wrong

**Developer response:** Hi, please note it is written in the app description that the Ancient Greek Alphabet differs from the Modern Greek Alphabet in the pronunciation of some of the letters. This app teaches the Ancient Greek Alphabet, which is used in mathematics, physics, astronomy and other sciences instead of in the modern Greek language. Thank you for your understanding.

**Developer response:** Hi friend from the US. This is a common issue among iPhone/iPad users because there’s a Ring/Silent switch is on the left-hand side of your iPhone and you have to switch off the silent mode (when you switch the button to the upper side, you will see a message saying "silent mode off”). Once the silent mode off you will hear the pronunciation of all the words.

Got to the end of a level and after the congrats screen it just turns black and doesn’t go on to anything else. If you get out of the app and get back in it just makes you start back over with that previous challenge (Challenge 5)

**Developer response:** Hi friend from the US, I just tested finishing Challenge 5 on several iOS devices and I was always redirected to the Mode screen, which is how I programmed it. Unfortunately I’m afraid the issue you described is device-specific and because I can’t reproduce it, I can’t fix it. I’m very sorry for the disappointment.

the proper greek but it is great for practising

App works pretty well. It would be nice if they added a section for lessons about the sound the letter makes instead of the names of the letters.

I needed help remembering and recognizing the Greek alphabet and this app is the best one I have found. It’s also fun! Highly recommend if you are trying to learn Greek alphabet for the first time!!!!
