### 5/5 — Excellent

*2024-09-10, version 2.4*

I have just downloaded this and can’t believe it is free! Okay, so it’s not always immediately obvious how to do stuff, so you may well miss some of the features, but this is such a help for Greek students. I hope the developer continues to support and develop this.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-09-10, version 2.4*

Great app very intuitive and user friendly. A friend of mine and I are reading through the Greek NT right now. This is very helpful.

### 5/5 — Better than Logos for reading Greek text

*2024-04-16*

This is a fantastic app. I primarily use Logos for study but this app is superior if your goal is to read Greek text. Great layout, easy to use, quick access to words and ability to do quick word study.

**Developer response:** Thank you! I use (and LOVE!) Logos on my laptop and my phone. I consider it high praise indeed that you think this is as good as Logos. This app wouldn't be possible without the generosity of the Logos (and Faithlife) folks who made the SBLGNT and the LEB freely available under Creative Commons licenses.

### 5/5 — Incredible app!

*2024-03-07, version 2.1*

Before I was toggling between 2-3 different apps as far as my daily study routine goes to cover Vocab, grammar, and reading. This has it all in one place with menus that are easy to use

### 5/5 — Terrific app

*2024-03-05, version 2.1*

This is a terrific app which I use on my iPhone. It’s easy to use. I tried to learn Greek - but my old brain cannot remember all the vocabulary. It’s fun to click on a Greek word and see its meaning. I have other Greek-English New Testaments to refer to, but this app is very helpful and fun to use.

### 5/5 — Serious about Greek

*2024-02-25, version 2.1*

I’ve tried several but this is the best app for the serious student of biblical Greek. I am so grateful for the work and dedication that has made this possible.

### 5/5 — I am learning so much so fast!

*2024-02-24, version 2.1*

I started out using just the Vocabulary tab. Now that I’ve learned a few hundred words, I am using the reading tab and it is exciting to be able to (sort of almost) read in Greek! I haven’t studied/learned how to conjugate verbs or recognize case endings yet but even without that I am amazed at how much I can understand.

Tip for beginners: Start with 2 John. It has only 95 unique words. :-). I wish I had done this instead of starting at the beginning with Matthew.

The app has so many helpful features. I love being able to click on a word in the Greek text and get an instant translation of that word without having to jump back and forth to another page.

Another feature I value is the ability to make vocabulary study lists of particular parts of speech. The nouns and verbs and adjectives are relatively easy to learn and remember, but it’s those pesky “miscellaneous” words that are hard. I made a special set of vocabulary lists to help with that.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for creating this app!

God bless you.

### 5/5 — Incredibly helpful

*2024-01-07, version 2.1*

What an amazing study app. This has become an integral part of my learning Greek plan. It’s easy to use and quite flexible. I’m so glad I learned about it. Thank you for creating and sharing it!

### 5/5 — App on iPad

*2023-12-12, version 2.0*

This is a great app. However, it only works vertically on my iPad. Is there any way it can appear horizontally on an iPad?

### 5/5 — Incredible!

*2023-12-12, version 2.0*

What an incredible app! Wish I had this in seminary, but so glad to have it now. Depth and breadth of study in one app. Easy to read at any level. Words, definitions, forms all embedded in the text. Makes reading enjoyable even if you are rusty. Great thanks to the developer!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2023-12-10, version 2.0*

It’s has replaced all my other Bible Apps on my iPhone. It’s fast and easy to use. A must have if you want to keep up with your Greek. Highly recommend and will require all my students to use it. Plus, it’s free! Wow!

### 5/5 — Best Greek App out there!

*2023-12-09, version 2.0*

My only complaint was that it wasn’t developed years ago!!!

### 4/5 — Great app, please update though

*2024-02-22, version 2.1*

Great features, so useful. Would love this updated to be viewable in landscape on iPad.

### 5/5 — Extremely Helpful App!

*2026-05-07, version 2.12*

I’m not officially studying Greek, but this app allows me to follow along with commentaries that are based upon the Greek New Testament. As a result, the aid provided by this app allows me to actually read the New Testament in Greek. I’ll never go back to reading translations. The meaning gets lost in translation. I don’t pretend to be able to do exegesis, but there is a lot of scholarship out there for that. Now, I can comprehend what they are talking about. Along the way, I am learning Koine Greek, thanks to this app.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-04-08, version 2.12*

I use it every day and it has been a game changer for building my vocabulary. The new features for studying and recognizing verbs are extremely useful.

### 5/5 — This app REALLY HELPED ME

*2026-04-07, version 2.12*

So thank you so much!!

### 5/5 — Awesome app!

*2026-02-02, version 2.11*

I am a first year greek student and I have found this app to be invaluable. The study tools are exceptional and have greatly sped up my learning of vocabulary, declensions, etc. my only feature request is for the word entries to include the phonetic pronunciation. I am sure this is much easier said than done, but that is the ONLY room for improvement I have found that would help a student like me. Thanks for this great resource

### 5/5 — Best GNT I’ve ever seen

*2025-12-25, version 2.10*

If you wanna read the Greek New Testament, there are a lot of apps and programs, but this is the best I’ve ever seen. And it’s free!

### 5/5 — Extremely useful

*2025-12-15, version 2.10*

This is by far the best NT reader app available. The pop-up dictionary with grammatical parsing alone is worth downloading the app. Not having to switch back and forth between the text and other pages makes studying much less arduous and allows for a more reasonable pace. I've already read 15 chapters of Matthew in about a week. I probably would have read half as much without this feature. It even includes the option to look at textual variants.
Very good work. I very much hope that the developer plans to include the Septuagint at some point.

### 5/5 — Thankful for this app!

*2025-01-30, version 2.5*

I love how I can tap on any word in the text and see the meaning and syntax of the word. I also love the verb and noun review forms!

### 5/5 — THE BEST

*2024-11-28, version 2.4*

This app is the gold standard for NT Greek reading and study. I am amazed at how well thought-out it is.

### 5/5 — Incredibly Valuable

*2024-10-02, version 2.4*

Organized and packed full of useful features. Designed to work with common texts for learning Koine. Intuitive and customizable. I use this app daily and it continues to prove invaluable. I continue to find new features that make the learning process easier. My sincere thanks to the developer.

## Most praised reviews (1 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great learning tool

*2024-09-12, version 2.4*

I have been looking for a vocabulary app that would help an individual learn the Greek vocab. This is the app to do that. Since I teach in Asia most of my students can’t afford to buy apps or get subscriptions to them so this also meets the financial problem.

I can’t believe all it will do. The developer says you should read through all the manual and I highly recommend that. You can make your own list for any NT book.

I want to thank the developer for making this free and also letting him know many students are using this to be able to read God’s Word in the original language.
