They have a lot of info on website but I am sure they miss out on lot of customers because the layout is not simple or intuitive. ### 2/5 — Update *2020-08-19* After the update it doesn’t retain my login details for my business account. Green Tomato as a company are fab, it's just technology letting you down right now. ### 1/5 — App is great... Service is not. *2013-09-15, version 7.1* So it's a lovely app. Really easy to use etc etc. But having made a booking over 24hrs in advance, to an airport, got a call 1 hr ahead of pick up time that they "were too busy, and couldn't fulfil my request". Erm, my booking was to an airport. Not very helpful. Don't get fooled by the gloss of the app. Very angry Basil. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Always asking for feedback. Here’s some: *2020-12-03* 1. App logs out of business account every couple of weeks. 2. You don’t need to send a text asking gif feedback after EVERY SINGLE JOURNEY. ### 1/5 — Errors about phone number format, won’t complete booking *2020-03-14* I’ve had this happen repeatedly and have been unable to book a car several times. I support the eco friendly ethos of the company which is why I keep trying to book periodically but the app just doesn’t work! Forced to use another app. **update** still having the same problem. Called the company and they seem totally unconcerned. I give up. ### 1/5 — Unreliable, I’m sticking with Uber *2019-09-06* Driver forgot Rut aje a parking ticket so it caused an extra 20 min delay. Rather than just us getting in the car and driving, he had to mess about sorting it out. The ticket machine was broken and didn’t take card, and he was unprepared, not having cash with him so we wasted more time. ...and after all of that, he didn’t even apologise! ### 1/5 — Terrible .. 30min delay without any info on app! *2019-05-07* I have used this app twice, once to go to the airport a week ago and it was fine. Today I had a trip scheduled for 5.25am to go to the train station. At 5am I had a missed call but no message and as I was rushing to get ready to go I just checked the app quickly and my car seemed to be on time. However at 5.20 I started to get suspicious as the app was counting down to my ride but no driver was on its way. I called the missed number and it was green tomato cars and they told me there would be a 30min delay. Nothing on app, no info of delay!!! This would be a basic requirement from a car booking app you’d think. I can’t rely on this company and will never be using them again. ### 1/5 — Not trustworthy *2018-12-16* Made a taxi booking more than 24 hours in advance. 10 minutes before the pickup time received an email to say the booking had been cancelled. Called to query this and was told the booking was cancelled because of lack of availability. They claimed they called 30mins earlier to let me know, but I didn’t have any missed calls... Total waste of time, just use Uber instead. ### 1/5 — Really really bad service *2018-11-30* The app is ok, the service is absolutely diabolical I have been using Green Tomato cars for the best part of 7 years and I cannot remember the last time i was so angry at a company. The pros: none any more The cons: over charged me 3 times in the last 2 months The times I’ve booked with them the cabs have arrived late... every time The service has gone downhill to a gutter rating and i have had enough deleted the app and asked GT to remove any of my details... really bad service ### 1/5 — Very cheeky *2017-12-31* Will deliberately delay your booking, so they can charge you peak time fare ### 1/5 — Late late late *2017-11-09* Late by 20mins two days in raw!
