## What is Green?

Note: This app is primarily intended for private and tourist customers or drivers of cars, motorcycles and campers. For professional users and drivers of trucks and buses, who have concluded a service contract with Green-Zones, the "Green-Zones Fleet-App" is available on the App Store.

Who is allowed to drive in an European environmental zone, with which vehicle type, on what day, depending on what weather conditions? Where are the environmental zones? Where can I order the corresponding badges?

It’s easy to lose the overview. The Green-Zones app helps you and supports you with the following features:

• A detailed representation of all rules and exemptions of each environmental zone in Europe, for which a fee-based badge, vignette or registration is required.
• A geo-data based map system indicating the contours of all the environmental zones, including a zoom function.
• The daily information coming from the local authorities responsible for the environmental zone in order to know the rules and traffics bans planned for the next day.
• Reports of announcements from the authorities for temporary traffic restrictions in an environmental zone for the next day.

### 2/5 — Gute Idee - schlecht gemacht

Die App ist gut strukturiert und hatte tolle und sinnvolle Features. Leider leider hilft das alles nichts, da die Daten zu den Umweltzonen nicht aktuell gehalten werden (das sieht man schon daran, dass das letzte Update vor über 5 Monaten rauskam!)
Es fehlen ganze Länder, neue Zonen und geänderte Bestimmungen. Die App führt im Zweifelsfall zu hohen Strafen und viel Ärger. Aktuell so sinnlos wie ein BGB von 1970.
Schade.

Die App ist eigentlich gut, leider werden die Zonen nicht ausreichend aktualisiert - auch nach Hinweis per Mail nicht. Bspw. gilt in Arnheim seit 01.06.26 eine deutlich verschärfte Regelung. Aber wenigstens liefert die App die Quellen mit, sodass man manuell nochmal prüfen kann (und aktuell leider muss…).

I ordered the French sticker on 7th September, but never received it. Not even the digital certificate they are legally required to issue. On 17th October I complained (albeit quite angrily), stating I’d give very negative review. Met with coercion to not do so, being threatened with legal action against “coercion, extortion, and defamation”. And yes, I’m able to prove that. In the end they returned the money, but although they claimed French authorities confirmed the sticker being printed on 15th September, it never arrived (writing this on 14th November = 9 weeks after order). So who knows how they’re supposed to operate.

Ahora pone que en las zonas de bajas emisiones en el centro de Madrid, se puede circular con etiqueta c, sin problemas Y no es del todo correcto. Esa zona antes aparecía en rojo, ahora aparece en verde. Revisen todo porque están creando confusión

Alles in allem eine sehr sinnvolle App eigentlich für Jeden, da man z.B. in Frankreich‘s Umweltzonen selbst mit dem modernsten Benziner die Plakette zwingend benötigt, so auch anderswo.
Größtes Manko sind in meinen Augen teils späte Updates, die italienischen ZTL-Zonen z.B. in Mailand fehlen beispielsweise komplett. Nett wäre auch eine Funktion, mit der man (vorbereitend für Urlaube) auch die Zonen für einen Zeitpunkt in der Zukunft einsehen kann, da sich die Zonen doch immer wieder ändern.

Die App leitete uns in den Niederlanden und Belgien nur in die Irre. Die Realität sah ganz anders aus, es hätte richtig teuer werden können. Werde die App löschen, da das Vertrauen in die Richtigkeit der Informationen weg ist und die App somit für meine Reiseplanungen wertlos wurde.
