### 3/5 — Green king

*2026-10-05, version 3.9.0*

This app is only convenient if you don’t need to change or substitute some of the items on the food menu.

### 1/5 — Feels incomplete

*2026-10-01, version 3.9.0*

Too many little things you’re unable to do that would make this app feel less irritating

### 2/5 — Recently added dark pattern

*2026-09-26, version 3.9.0*

A recent update of the app added a modal with newsletter opt-in, checked by default, which quickly appears after ordering. Very easy to quickly click through and accidentally join the mailing list.

This seems like an intentional dark pattern.

### 3/5 — Clunky af

*2026-09-23, version 3.9.0*

I’m not sure why I have to download an app to order a drink from somewhere I’m never going to go to again. Just come and take my order. Please review your process and let’s have it a bit more seamless and user friendly. We very nearly went somewhere else. There’s plenty of pubs right and this is just unnecessary friction.

### 1/5 — Won’t let me register

*2026-09-20, version 3.9.0*

The app seems to have updated and requires me to register again. Tried 3 times and get the message “something has gone wrong” The experience was so frustrating.

### 5/5 — Finding score predictions

*2026-09-19, version 3.9.0*

Since the new app why does the correct score keep disappearing or when wanting to edit
Not good I’m afraid
Keep it in one place other than rewards section as it disappears for info on other offers

### 5/5 — Annette

*2026-09-14*

Great

**Developer response:** This is a fantastic review to see! Thank you and we'd love to see you back at one of our pubs again soon!

### 1/5 — Will not update and refuses to take order

*2026-09-13, version 3.3.0*

App is only for most recent iOS and old app is somehow disabled. Should allow old installed app to keep working and not simply say refill! Very annoying

### 1/5 — Can’t open the app anymore.

*2026-08-31, version 3.3.0*

The Greene king app won’t open any more since since the app was updated. The on screen advice is to go to the App Store and click “update” When I do this, “update” is not an option that appears. The app does say it works on my phone, iPhone 8 Plus. Everything else works fine on my phone, please help.

### 1/5 — Unsupported

*2026-08-31, version 3.3.0*

Due to having an older iPhone X I am unable to use the app.

We used our local Greene King pub twice weekly for food and drinks, we’ve now gone to our local wetherspoons the food and service is better.

I would have stayed with Greene King as I would like to have used the offers, the off of BOGOF on mains this week 1-11th September I would have definitely used, unfortunately I am excluded because I don’t have a newer iPhone.

I really wish businesses wouldn’t exclude people just because of technology, it really doesn’t do anyone any favours, other than to ostracize 😢🙁🙁
