I’ve had this app from when they started. About 10 years ago  
For the last two months it’s taking up to a week to process claims. Majority used to be instant. Also I get claims rejected for clarity of receipt now. I know how to do it. Upload a very similar picture then gets accepted. I hope they sort things out as I’m thinking of closing my account.
Things have now got worse. I have messaged gj but no replies. I’m still uploading perfectly clear WHOLE receipts. They are still getting rejected.

I used to love this app, but I’ve recently tried to get help with a purchase / receipt that’s been declined by them and no-one replies. The deadline to resubmit my receipt is tomorrow and they say they respond in 2 working days. I sent them a message last Monday and again on Thursday.

It’s not been resolved. Still crashes in the same place as of last week. Unusable.

An expensive mistake. Annoyingly deceptive. Does NOT work on Nectar prices so I ended up spending over £14 on items that they didn’t give me the money back for. If there is something FREE maybe worthwhile ( presuming it refunds) but i won’t be using this again. A shame as I liked the concept, but would can afford £14 to trial new items and as I said the lack of clarity around the Nectar pricing being exempt

Why does GreenJinn insist on having all the items listed on your receipt, even ones that you are not claiming for? I’ve tried redacting the ones not relevant to them only to have my claims rejected again and again.

Would give zero starts if I could. There was a new offer on the app for 2x free BRITE energy drinks. I purchased both drinks at a total of £4.00, drinks I wouldn’t usually purchase. I put the items in my basket (still had 8 days to claim) however as soon as I tried to submit my receipt the offers had disappeared. Luckily I take a screen shot of everything so I had evidence however this was pointless really as it’s been weeks and I’m still waiting for a reply from customer services. Avoid at all costs, head over to Checkout Smart smart or Shopmium

Been waiting for support to get back which will be weeks. (From past experience). The app was broken and did not take photos correctly. Waiting to get an expensive cash back and I cannot return the product as it is a fresh item. Wasted my money. False advertising!

I’ve saved over £500 with GreenJinn over the years and their customer support used to be great with immediate response times on Facebook. Now it seems to be non-existent and if you have a problem don’t expect it to be fixed 🥲

Constant issues where you submit a receipt with photographs, throw out the receipt and then later get a notification that,

“ Apologies, there was a technical issue, we havent received your receipt properly.”

There’s only so many times you spend £5 or more based on the app and it pulls this on you before you lose all trust in it.

I’ve been using this app for a while and so far I’ve saved £60! The deals are great, and I love that the payout threshold is only £1.50 so you can get the money back pretty quickly unlike other cashback apps. The layout of the app is easy to navigate and cashback is often accepted immediately which is great because there’s not a lot of waiting involved. The only thing I’d say is sometimes it shows items for certain stores that the stores don’t actually stock which can be a bit annoying if you go to the shop just to get the item on the app, but this is probably the shop’s problem and not the app! I highly recommend to anyone who likes trying new products and free stuff! 🖤

I love using GreenJinn. The app is super easy to use and is full of brilliant offers. It has introduced me to lots of new products which are now part of my weekly shop. And their customer service team are superb. Top marks all round!

This app is good. I have been using it for a couple of years and in total have saved over £200 so far. As people mentioned the receipts are accepted and approved pretty fast and the cashback is usually with you within a couple of days after that. 

A lot of the products available are niche products and new releases. Check which branch they are available on as not every product listen on a supermarkets page will be listed in your local store. Plus a lot of time even if the app says it’s available in your local store, it won’t be. I would say around 40% of the products on my Sainsbury’s page are not available in my local store.

I love going on the app every time I pop into the shops. There’s so many brands I probably wouldn’t have tried but because of GreenJinn it’s allowed me to give them a go and then often have become a loyal customer

It’s the best app for offers in a variety of stores. I don’t think the other apps like Shopmium and CheckoutSmart are a touch on GreenJinn. Your receipts get accepted usually within a few minutes. I knew there’s been issues in the past but I think they’ve sorted them. I love it.
