It will not continue with the installation. No one answers the support line. “Smart” thermostat is dumb without connection. Filter reminder is nice except for the fact you can’t tell the app you replaced it! There isn’t a “hold” temp, there is a Pause schedule and Schedule off. I had no problem with the old app. It’s not like we look at it everyday and play with it. I like to set it and forget. Now we have to learn a new one. I’m pretty tech savvy but why make a new one. It just turns the furnace off and on. I will say it does a great job doing that and maintaining temp. The interface is terrible, the color scheme is ugly and cheap feeling, font sizes feel wrong, the giant dial. When you boot up the app instead of instantly seeing your temp and being able to adjust you have to tap through 2 additional screens and wait for it to load to get there. Support is no help. This issue has been going on for at least a couple of years and they just refuse to fix it 👍 ### 1/5 — Needs an update for system issues and dated layout. *2025-01-14, version 2.0.53* had the app for 4 years no problems at all untill recently my thermostat disconnected from WiFi and wouldn’t reconnect. Tried deleting the thermostat from the app and re adding it but now since I deleted when I go to select what thermostat I have it force closes the app Everytime no matter what. Tired deleting the app and reinstalling, still has the same issues so now I’m unable to control my thermostat. ### 1/5 — App no longer is updated *2024-12-29, version 2.0.53* I’m trying to get my thermostat to reconnect to the app and ultimately google assistant. We updated our wifi and needed to change it. I didn’t think to unlink devices because usually there is a way to reset them to connect again. Not for the thermostat. Before it had been fine, but now the app force closes when I try to add a device. We have an older furnace that doesn’t have a control panel per- se, just wires. Thank goodness my husband is an electrician and figured out a way to wire it since we had a “C” wire on the thermostat but didn’t have a “C” at the furnace. Other than that one issue, it was set up very easily. I like having the app on my phone and can adjust temp with occasionally depending on weather, even if I’m not home. I do wish the app had a few more setting options for scheduling rather that just 2 a day; but again, I can adjust from my app if I remember. Haven’t tried setting up the app on more than one phone yet, but have heard that isn’t an option. If so, that’s disappointing. Perhaps there is something wrong with our unit at it reads 4 degrees higher than actual temperature of the area near the thermostat. So, I then have to remember to turn schedule back on later. I also cannot figure out how to contact developer, so I’m writing this review in hopes they see it.
