### 2/5 — Low priceS

*2026-05-26, version 39.3.0*

It has very low prices for areas, you need to update your prices by postal codes

### 2/5 — Won’t add bank for bidding

*2026-04-07, version 39.1.0*

Just downloaded the app don’t everything it asked me to now it won’t send the link to my email so I’m able to add my bank information to bid on jobs I’m missing out on

### 2/5 — Okay

*2026-03-20, version 38.9.0*

Had more pros than customers. Your bid will never get through.

### 4/5 — Schedule option back

*2025-09-08, version 37.8.0*

Thanks for bringing the schedule options back, WE almost lost a few customers

### 3/5 — It’s Fair in regards to app fees But not transparent with the meaning of 3rd party stripe payout

*2025-09-07, version 37.8.0*

Many things come to mind. Such as if a customer chooses no vender quotes for service. They allow you to adjust your quote. But it has to be 5 dollars cheaper than your original . Where as the property goes another week or 2 or 3. Without a service. And they think the price needs to be reduced. When it’s the opposite. As more time passes and yards go neglected. Only results in more yard waste and clippings. Increasing time and labor. Why would the price go down. Very bad business logic. And allows customers to rape the system that is already flawed with 5 to 10 people quoting the same job. With no real current visual condition and size and shape of the property. Just not practical giving bids blindly.
GreenPal offers a real opportunity to gain and build a lawn service company. GreenPal commissions fee is one of the fairest and acceptable amount on the market. IMO. With that said. Possible reason for issues I find most frustrating. The platform has zero support staff. Zero. Their idea of support is to join a Facebook group and chat with other venders. Who I might ad. Have zero clearance to solve or manage any issue that may arise. The biggest problem and failure of transparency is the choice of stripe in the equation. It’s mandatory with no alternative choices to handle or process payment from customers. They say it’s for your own personal business that we the vendors manage. But that’s not true. As the stripe account is managed by GreenPal. And you cannot remove them from having all access and permission to the stripe account. As I mentioned GreenPal takes a very low percentage as a fee. When you add stripe fees to the picture. It begins to attack the bottom line. There should be alternative to choose from. So long as GreenPal can get its commission People don’t realize that Uncle Sam gets all your reported income. And demands 30% add 10% for stripe and green pall. Then cost of being in business. Fuels, machine maintenance, supplies(trash bags, chain saws, tools and parts and repairs) fuel taxes, and insurances . That another 25%. For every dollar earned on this platform. .65 cents is gone. And you take home ,35 cents on every dollar earned. The least the platform should give alternative for vendors to process payment from there customers with the hundred options out there basically free. From Venmo, cash app, Zelle, PayPal and all other. And GreenPal just need to tally up the job amounts Apply the fee and submit that number to the venders at the end of each week. To continue with the platform. Stripe is expensive and only want to up sale you in more expensive service options. And none of them are useful to small time Laen service companies. And I would argue just as un useful to large companies. As a fee of 3% for every transaction is insane. There is no reason to force all vendors to use this system that can not even create a user friendly transaction history in a form that is legible for tax purposes. .

### 1/5 — It’s been a month and I haven’t received payment

*2025-07-12, version 37.3.0*

It’s been a month and I haven’t received payment for the work I have completed with GreenPal

### 1/5 — Worst app so far

*2025-06-20*

So I am signing up for green pal and green pal for vendors, and every time I try to sign up they give me some kind of issue, either they don’t let me create the account, they say there’s an underlying issue that can’t resolved on my phone and to switch to a desk top computer, so I did. Then on the desk top computer, which is a brand new macbook, every time i sign up to be a vendor is says, “this app is only for vendors, switch to the green pal homeowners app” like are you serious?? I am literally signing up to be a vendor. Also, when I try to sign into my green pal homeowners app, it starts telling me my password is wrong and I have to reset it when I just entered my password and created the account so I have it all written down. Then, when I try to sign into my green pal vendors app, it automatically takes me into the homeowners app instead like if i’m trying to get my own grass cut. Not only that, but you can’t even search up which specific vendor you want to service your lawn. DONT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS APP

**Developer response:** Hi agarciariv — we're really sorry about the trouble you're having signing up. That’s definitely not the experience we want for our vendors or homeowners. Please email us at team@yourgreenpal.com so we can help get your lawn care or vendor account set up smoothly. Thanks for your patience!

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-06-06, version 37.3.0*

They say the average bid price is 19-23 dollars on lots of lawn. Then they want to take some of your profit for ever. I have only one customer left under the app. I have converted all my customers so I don’t have to pay green pal. The one I have left is an amazing customer. I figured I would keep the app just to get leads but it’s such a pain. I was trying to upload the pic of my work and it makes me sign something that I’m doing integrity work I had to check a bunch of boxes. On top of that, it had a bunch of leads that no one responded to or the customer had not responded to anyone and I had to go through all those first just to posted so I could get paid. Big headache.

### 1/5 — New to the app and I have not get any jobs

*2025-05-08, version 37.3.0*

Useless app I have bid for over 50 jobs and have gotten zero jobs

### 1/5 — Terrible bidding structure

*2025-05-02*

I’ve been using this service for the past two months just returning since using this app a few years ago, and I’m extremely disappointed. They provide leads for customers looking for services, but the problem is that most winning bids are extremely low, making it impossible to earn a decent profit. Despite consistently bidding lower than the average—like offering $25 when the average is $30—I haven’t won a single bid.

The process is frustrating because they send the customer five bids, and they almost always pick the cheapest option. When you arrive for the job, you often discover that the yard hasn't been maintained in over a month, leading to a much bigger cleanup than expected. This app is a waste of time—I’d be better off finding my own leads.

**Developer response:** Hi Low-keyTheGod, we’re sorry the bidding experience has been frustrating. We understand how important fair pricing is for lawnmowing, grass cutting, landscaping maintenance, and yard maintenance work. Please reach out to us at team@yourgreenpal.com—we’d appreciate the chance to help and hear more about your experience.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2025-04-22, version 37.3.0*

Unable to complete job by choosing image from photo library nor able to update profile picture from phone app

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-05-12, version 39.1.0*

Setting up the account was too complicated, looks like they don’t pay much either

### 1/5 — Closed my account for no reason

*2026-04-28, version 39.1.0*

If I could give them zero stars I would. They just closed my account for no reason after being with them for two years. All my customers were in the app. I’ve tried calling and contacting service support no one answers.

### 1/5 — Stripe sucks

*2026-04-21, version 39.1.0*

The app is okay but they make you use stipe to get your money. You are more likely to get scammed by stipe than you are to get your money. They should be you the option to use Apple Pay, Venmo or PayPal. You know legitimate companies.

### 1/5 — Un professional

*2026-04-21, version 39.1.0*

This company is money hungry and doesn’t care about the vendors . I’ve been told that I’m not aloud to use the app by the co owner due to missing an appointment last year when I’ve been off the app for 3 years due to health issues . The guy would not help me solve the issue or listen to anything I had to say to prove my point . He claimed a email would of been sent out but I havnt been emailed then he goes to say I was texted to afterwards and just made everything seem to be my fault and I’m still confused how could this have happened when I’ve not even had the app in a few years

### 1/5 — DO NOT USE

*2025-09-07, version 37.8.0*

This app and company are atrocious. Read all the 1 star reviews, they are the truth. You will be penalized for a rain delay and they do NOTHING for customers who don’t pay you. It isn’t really even worth trying to convert customers to alternate payment methods since they tell the customer their 10k sq/ft lawn with mulch beds every 3 feet that no grass at all can get in is a $50 service. RUN RUN RUN.

### 1/5 — Don’t download this app

*2025-08-30, version 37.6.0*

The stupid App, sends you messages incorrectly and when you respond incorrectly to it without even intending to it closes down you’re account and there’s nobody’s on the phone to solve your issues App is not helpful at all I can’t even get my money out
It’s complicated to sign up as well forget this app

### 1/5 — Not very vendor friendly

*2025-08-21, version 37.6.0*

This app gives way too much scheduling power, amongst other things to customers. It lets them constantly change your schedule and makes things very difficult. This app also takes EVERY opportunity to penalize you for anything it can

### 1/5 — The worst app

*2025-08-12, version 37.6.0*

The app will not let me login to my account I emailed customer service and they will not respond to my email at all

### 1/5 — Takes forever to UPDATE

*2025-07-28, version 37.4.0*

I downloaded this app thinking it would be helpful but no I couldn’t even sign in because it told me it was updating. I also tried the app for the costumers just curious to see if it would work and that also did not work. Please save some time and don’t download this app.

### 1/5 — Big rip off

*2025-07-19, version 37.3.0*

They want you to cut a lawn for 25$ 20mins away in 100* degree weather a job that takes 2 hours horrible application and they take fees as well not worth it big rip off horrible mistake . This app should never be created horrible

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

Great app to help you get started

### 5/5 — Bat app to start

*2026-01-20, version 38.3.0*

I been with GreenPal for over 5 years I do about 100 yards a month through them I really recommend

### 5/5 — Good for additional clients

*2025-11-01, version 38.0.0*

I would rate this platform 4 stars, the app is very basic and needs a lot of upgrades and developments to truly make it more user friendly and accessible. Other than that it is a great way to add additional clients when growing a lawn care business. I am one of the top providers in my state and have met many happy clients through this app.

### 5/5 — Increase the price range for service

*2025-10-18, version 38.0.0*

Super excited about I will like to be able to change my costume over 1,000 in the same description or job

### 5/5 — Good

*2025-09-03, version 37.7.0*

A place where the highest bid is 25, I put 50 and I have gained over 10 customers, as well as those who change dates the cuts to save money go out of my schedule. It's simple

### 5/5 — Best lawn care app that I’ve used

*2025-08-20, version 37.6.0*

Comparing this one to the other one that everybody loves to use the fitting aspect of it is favorable although it was quite hard to land the first one the app itself is very user-friendly

### 5/5 — Ease of use

*2025-07-23, version 37.3.0*

Give it a shot, this is the most user friendly app I’ve found thus far

### 5/5 — Mike Landscape fire prevention specialist

*2025-01-20, version 37.3.0*
