Same route , similar traffic ,similar driving style but using different bus gives different rating . Passengers congratulated me for smooth driving but app says my driving is pathetic for the same period. I used be No. 1 following its recommendations but it affected both me and my passengers (delays) . After not bothering about it’s rating and recommendations , I am back to enjoying driving public transport as well as my passengers as I am able to manage my trip time more effectively getting them to their destination on time . ### 1/5 — Full of bugs *2024-06-03* It’s no longer possible to switch back from “on duty” to “off duty”. Once you are on duty, that’s it, you are stuck there. Numerous events have been sent to support yet nothing has been corrected. ### 1/5 — Un Reliable Device Measuring Employees Performance *2023-11-28, version 8.1.1* I been driving buses for living and find this method of measuring employees driving performance as a way of harassment and picking on them.In the UK we drive according to the DVSA standards and CPC norms which we pass and oblige to and getting our license so why am I required to drive according to Green Road Standards? Particularly when the device which measures my driving ability is un reliable? Every single bus I drive on a daily basis reflects and react differently on Green Road sensors which is set to way too sensitive crossing the drivers head what wrong did I do and it’s recorded recklessly as a Critical Safety Event ..! Really? Even when the device not recording the performance leaving the employees downward grading negative and not reflecting improved performance..! How Fair and Un Reliable is that?This is more of a paranoid and controlled approach than progressive driving where the safety measurements are already in place by the DVSA and Highway codes .! ### 4/5 — Really good app *2023-11-05, version 8.1.0* Have been using it for years, with good software development over time ### 1/5 — Constant warnings to fix issues that don’t exist *2023-10-13, version 8.0.0* I don’t think this app actually works on iOS 17. Violations for braking in to a corner when a car is approaching on your side of the road due to parked cars, accelerating out of a corner while turning in to a steep climb, lane handling for driving through a traffic calming chicane. ### 1/5 — Forced to download by work *2023-08-03, version 7.9.1* Rubbish app. Badly implemented and annoying. ### 1/5 — Erroneous records *2023-07-12, version 7.8.5* GreenRoad kept recording under my account after I had handed the bus over to my colleague after the duty. It also recorded “idling” on electric buses 😳 I have sent two suggestion messages under “support” tab. That’s all the website gives me as an option. I will wait and see if I receive a response. These two glitches may ruin my otherwise “green” score if not fixed. I will come back to edit this review and one star if the errors are rectified. ### 1/5 — Variable results *2023-06-28* Although every vehicle installation in a fleet should be to the same standard, I find same model vehicles can vary considerably. It seems more training is required for installers, as some mild events can cause alerts in some vehicles and other vehicles not so. Does Greenroads have ISO cert? ### 1/5 — Disappointed and Frustrated *2023-05-13* I find it disappointing that the creators haven’t listed to the users and those writing reviews. I have to use this app for my job, and we are rated based on an app that is incredibly inaccurate, makes judgment assumptions and wrong. You are marked as distracted driving, for going slow to make a turn. Penalized because you chose to stop at a light that changed when, not by your fault or driving, a light changes and you brake harder rather than run a red light. It doesn’t tell the truth about how you drive. There isn’t much good I can say. I hope that the creators will start to take a look at their app and start looking to make it better for those that are being judged at work for the results of this app, or worse loose a job. ### 1/5 — Shambles of a system *2023-03-31, version 7.7.0* Whole system is ridiculous, events for things that you wouldn’t even notice, and no events for major things. One time I had a “red/dangerous” event for going around a corner at 5mph in a 30mph zone. I then was told off in a meeting for “dangerously” overtaking a car turning into a side road, according to a passenger. However no event on Greenroad to display. Works when it wants to. Cheap and nasty. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Improved my driving! *2022-03-17* Nobody like to think they need to drive better, and it seems the negative reviews reflect that, but the app does a great job of finding all these subtle errors in handling and letting me know just when they happen. The truth of the matter is that it’s reliable in doing that and I’m a better driver for it. I learned to understand that a safe driving app is not about alerting when you obviously did something harsh or dangerous. You know that already!
