With the GreenScan App, you will have a complete overview in your pocket. In addition, thanks to the detailed user profile settings, the application will show you the suitability of selected cosmetic or cleaning products according to your preferences. Just a quick glance and you know where your favourite product stands. Ingredient details: By clicking on an ingredient, you will quickly find out if it's suitable for you. Sources and studies: For those of you, who want to know more, there is detailed information on our website. How do we grade? First of all, we don't evaluate/rate products; we focus on the ingredients and their worst properties. A colour grading scale: different colours show how safe or harmful an ingredient is. The ground rule: Although the grading is primarily based on the worst property of an ingredient, we can't forget about the positive aspects and contributions. Sources: We believe in science! Then, this app didn't recognize any of the products or ingredients I searched (not even sodium chloride!). **Developer response:** Hey! Thanks for your comment. You’re right – it used to be like that, but not anymore :) Things should work much more smoothly now. No login needed – we don’t collect any personal data. We honestly don’t need it. We’re a free and independent app – we don’t care who you are, only how the app works for you and how we can keep improving it.
