There are plenty of card designs and font options to choose from, and I was able to find the perfect card for my dad’s birthday. I did experience a small glitch where the app indicated that my card should have arrived by a certain date, but it hadn’t. I reached out to customer service and connected with Andrew, who was extremely kind and helpful. Although the estimated response time was around four hours, I received a reply in less than 10 minutes. Andrew explained that there had been a system glitch on their end and reassured me that the card was still on its way. It ended up arriving about a week before my dad’s birthday, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The “remix” button on the cards just makes that it’s AI even more obvious. No thanks. I’d rather spend my money on human created art. Additionally, I had to give my phone number for 2FA before I could use the app. It could be a coincidence but I got spam texts from two companies I’ve never used before in my life within minutes. No thanks. Hard pass. We have an artist that works on staff with us who, in addition to a lot of other great work, makes many of the cards. We also work with a number of other independent artists who design cards for us and earn a royalty from their sale. When you purchase our cards, you are helping an artist earn a living from their work. We built the remix feature as a way to make our catalog more inclusive. Many customers see a card they love, but it doesn't quite portray them or their loved one quite right. The remix feature helps them get the perfect card for the occasion. The feature is opt in only for all our artists, and they still earn the same royalty on remixes of their work. Lastly, under no circumstances do we sell or give away our customers' personal information. We make money from selling our cards, we have no need and no desire to sell data.
