Then you need to hire someone pay him a couple of hundred dollars to get it fixed so it won’t consistently crash!!!!!!!!! I call it a piece of garbage. Out of the first week it shows that 4 of the days I did not use any oil . ( weather in the 30’s and thermostat set to 70) Strike 3 - when you try to contact support via support page , the message will not send . Say error try again later . Unfortunately the oil company relies on it and I’ve run out of oil with it. Yet the entertainment value is priceless… ### 1/5 — Ugly *2024-03-07* Poorly designed. Gauge is unreadable in landscape mode on my iPad mini. In portrait mode, the top of the screen gets cut off. There are no number on the gauge. The list that shows the daily readings uses small print (as does everything else on this app) and wastes alot of space inbetween them. About as ugly a design as you can get. They didn’t spend any money on making it look good. I assume it works... ### 1/5 — Is this thing on? *2023-08-17* I’m not sure that this app is even supported anymore. It’s worked about 2-3 times in the last year. Can’t login, can’t reset password, etc. then suddenly it worked, only to fail in the same way again. Frustrating. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2022-12-28* I just started using the Gremlin via my oil company. The accuracy of how much oil in my tank was completely off. My gauge on my tank registered 1/4 tank; the Gremlin App showed a delivery was made on 12/24. I’m not sure why the app would increase the amount of oil I had in my tank today (12/27), but I ended up calling for a delivery. Fortunately, the oil company was in my area today. They filled the tank for 177 gallons, the most I’ve ever put in my tank in the 11+ years I’ve owned my house. Going to have it removed and go back to monitoring the tank myself. ### 1/5 — Still crashes ALWAYS on IOS *2022-03-12* This app has never worked for me. I contacted Gremlin who acknowledged this and said it would be fixed “soon,” which has never happened. ### 1/5 — Crashes after opening *2022-01-23* There is no update to app for more than a year. Hope app gets updated as it does good job keeping me informed on oil tank level. ### 2/5 — Inaccurate oil level *2025-01-17* The idea is excellent, you can monitor the oil level from your phone. What is strange is that this device reports once a day! I guess that’s ok, unless your tank is leaking badly! However, the worst thing is the reporting is inaccurate. As many of fellow users mentioned, this reports unchanged oil level for multiple days and the. The next day the level jumps by a big number. For instance, it may show 252 for three days and on the fourth day you’ll see the oil level drops to 235! That’s bad as you may not be prepared. ### 2/5 — So much potential… *2023-01-25, version 5.0.4* This app has so much potential, yet a year or two into using it now it’s still riddled with bugs that make just basic usage very difficult. Display issues, light/dark mode support, etc. Now I can’t login and can’t reset my password - the one that has worked fine all along. Really disappointed… would be a 5 star app with just a few tweaks. On a good note, I love that it’s not loaded up with useless features. ### 2/5 — Limited Features Limited Further? *2022-03-17, version 4.5.4* With the latest update that just came out 3/16/22, it seems to support dark mode on the iPhone finally! However, the already limited features have now become even more limited. There’s no display of tank level percentage or approximate date for next delivery. I found those to be valuable information. Also took forever to load my tank info once I had to re-register and create an actual username and password, unlike before. I must have opened the app a dozen times before it finally worked. Why make the app even less desirable than before? Make it make sense… ### 2/5 — Could be better *2021-04-27* Needs dark mode support. Annoying to have to switch to light mode to use. Also could be more feature rich. Right now it only gives a current reading and historical readings by date. Would be nice to see weather data correlated or other information and capabilities.
