Crashes crashes and more crashes

When I hit a button to speak it crashes and closes. When I try and type, it freezes. It’s the holiday season and their customer support isn’t available for 11 days. So I will not be using Grid til next year. In the meantime, I will look for something more reliable, because it ain’t Grid.

An essential app with substantial flaws

I have been using Grid for iPad for around a year now, and while it is seemingly best in class and I can’t live without it, I am increasingly frustrated with the poor use the developers have made of the Apple iOS toolbox. This evidently is a port of their PC program which ignores most if not all of the native iOS features that would speed up use and improve accuracy. This is disappointing in a program that costs so much, and I can’t be the only user who invested heavily in in the hardware to run it on, either.

Great with room for improvement.

It’s honestly a great app with access to so much. The only downside for me is I purchased it on my son’s iPad but am unable to edit remotely from my Apple ID unless I purchase it again despite only having it on 2/5 devices currently.

Doesn’t support split screen or Acapela “MyVoice”

Living with a progressive neurological disorder is rough. Losing my voice and being dependent on AAC is rough. Having a AAC device is awesome. Having one with your own synthetic voice is even more awesome. Using AAC on FaceTime, Zoom, Phone Calls, and Video conferencing is critical to maintaining quality of life. This app doesn’t allow you to use it in split-screen mode and doesn’t allow you to download a voice you worked so hard to create before losing your voice.
