## What is Grid Locator Finder?

Tap anywhere on the map and app will show you Grid Locator Reference. This is convenient tool for ham radio operators to make a plan for portable and/or mobile operation as well as big DX expedition. 
Internet connection is required. 

Zoom in to street level, app will show you 10 digit locator. 

Note: Usually Grid Locator is 6 digit as defined in ARRL document. This 10 digit is expansion of 6 digit as 7th and 8th are divided by 10 ("0" through "9") then 9th and 10th are divided by 24 ("a" through "x"). This logic is based on article on Wikipedia.

This would be substantially more useful if it was linked to the FPS in your phone so you could always locate your grid when operating mobile or remote.

Works great to find any grid square in the world.  I just wish it had a feature that would allow you to enter a grid square and it would show where you were. This would be very valuable when I am on a cruise ship.

In addition to usual 6 digit grid locator, 10 digit version is available. 

Simply zoom in few kilo meter per one of the side of screen, then tap, app will show you 10 digit locator. 

Note: Usually Grid Locator is 6 digit as defined in ARRL document. This 10 digit is expansion of 6 digit as 7th and 8th are divided by 10 ("0" through "9") then 9th and 10th are divided by 24 ("a" through "x"). This logic is based on article on Wikipedia.

Added new feature. 

- You can bookmark searched location. Use "save" button at right upper corner to save search
- Tap bookmark button next to save button, app will show you bookmarked location list. Tap one of them shows location and grid locator on main screen. 
- Search results shows city/country level of address for bookmark purpose. When bookmark location, if no address data is available or address is already used for saving another location, app will ask you input location name for saving purpose.
