I love community rosters and teams and all that. The game is buggy as hell, you can't see every recruit even if you change the sorting settings, the game will randomly change menus on you after a tap, it'll reload suddenly and not save the last two minutes of progress and worst of all - I didn't play it for a week and my save is gone. That being said it rules and its systems are good, maybe a bit too busy on the menus. ### 3/5 — Love it! Many times I’m kicked out to the Home Screen or blank screen and some steps are skipped. For one, the AI is able to stop driving to kick field goals before half or the end of the game, but the player cannot. Multiple times I’ve had situations where I should’ve been able to take the lead right before half, but instead they just kept driving and let the clock run out. ### 3/5 — Great but I keep running into one issue *2026-07-06, version 1.6* I have had a blast playing this game but I keep running into one thing. CONSTANT CRASHING! At least two to three times every week my game crashes. I also feel like the coaching carousel in terms of the offers the player gets is waaayy too low. But GOOD GOD the bugs are terrible. It crashes multiple times every 5 minutes and makes it pretty much unplayable. Also on the target screen how the players switch around after you give them a certain number of points in annoying too. It kicks me out every other game and doesn’t keep the final score. Also can’t see past history and doesn’t always count bowl wins and even seasons.Also during the portal if I give someone points it kicks me out. Can’t start a new season ad just starts and you can’t close it. Borderline unplayable unless you pay for no ads ### 1/5 — fix the glitches *2026-05-29* update: now my dynasty is stuck. i can’t advance week anymore bc the button only reloads the same week. so now i can’t play. definitely needs to focus on fixing bugs old review: fun game, but definitely needs to work on bug fixing. one big one is after the coaching carousel, i always have to quit the game and restart because the button to go to the next season doesn’t work. sometimes it’ll say JUCO players are available during recruiting but there’s no players when you click the tab. in the coach skill tree, you can’t click on any of the options to see what they do without buying them if you have enough points to buy it, which is really annoying. you also have to toggle on manual progression for coordinators every season, which makes zero sense. i also turned on the option to get key play pop ups during games, and have never gotten one. that’s fine i guess, but not getting to call any plays feels pretty limiting. also the player cards are constantly jumping around during recruiting, which is really annoying. my big issue right now though is with player interest. i have a 5 star program. have been in the playoffs for like 5-6 seasons straight, and just won a championship, but somehow zero 4-5 HS players are interested in playing for me. also i don’t know if there just isn’t a manual redshirt option or if it’s buried somewhere (there’s not much a tutorial). **Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to update your review and for sticking with Gridiron Coaching. Never have anyone going to the NFL, and never get to sway my guys with their NIL because it kicks me out & reloads a step ahead. SO many cool features. That said, the sim logic is absolutely horrible. I was 11-1 ranked #3 and it told me I was a “lock” for a first round bye in the CFP. Had a bye the last week of the season. Simmed the last week and all of a sudden I dropped out of playoff contention completely because of my “quality of wins”. I had wins over #22, #14, #6, and #8, with my only loss to the #1 team at the time (they finished #25). Game is addicting but I will be deleting until a major sim logic update is made. EDIT: Shortly after I made this review the sim logic was overhauled and was MUCH better. Love a responsive dev! ### 5/5 — Best cfb game *2026-06-29* Honestly the game itself is amazing and i can play it for hours although it crashes every time i try to recruit a player it’s still fun I do have some ideas for the game like making the recruiting system more compact and together rather than having to scroll up and down to find individual recruits and maybe adding a training program or camp before or after the season to help progress the players other than that i feel like the game has a lot of potential and would definitely keep playing. ### 5/5 — 🚨🚨I love this game so far way better others. Just some ideas that would be game changers *2026-06-25, version 1.6* I feel like the draft logic of players getting picked should be a little better, like I. Had a player that was going crazy in college not get drafted because he was like a 84 over(low overall) but I had a guy that was pretty bad go 7th overall Becuase he was 99 ovr just a little idea I think the game would be better, it would also be cool if you added the nfl/pro team there going to all though I know that might be hard because of rights and stuff but amazing game loving it so far, You guys should add that if you start as a bad school and turn it super good and a dynasty that future years higher recruits are more interested unlike how now mostly 3-2 stars are mostly getting signed on auto recruiting and 3-2 stars are usally only interested. Like I won a national championship first year for a mid team and there was still only 3 stars interested.You should also seperate Db and s like for position awards.
