## What is Gridless?

Two iPhones. One private room. No internet, no signal, no account. Free to try.

Gridless is an offline messenger for exactly two people. Meet once, scan a QR code, and your phones share an end-to-end encrypted room over Bluetooth. Come near each other again and the room reopens, ready to text and send photos with no network at all.

OFFLINE, ON PURPOSE
- On the plane, across the aisle, everything in airplane mode
- On the subway, deep below the last bar of signal
- At the festival, when a hundred thousand phones swamp the towers
- At the campsite, the cabin, the cruise, the blackout

ONLY YOU TWO CAN READ IT
- Every message is encrypted between your two phones. The keys exist nowhere else
- No servers, no cloud. Nothing is stored in the middle, because there is no middle

- Photos are compressed, stripped of location, and never uploaded anywhere

HOW NEAR IS NEAR
Bluetooth reaches about a room or two, and walls matter, so this is for the person beside you, not across town. Out of range, your words wait on your phone and deliver the moment you are back together. In range, messages keep landing in your pocket, with notifications, for days at a time. Fully close the app and the room ends until you reopen it.

Pair with anyone and use the whole app together, free. After your free days, reading and receiving stay free, and unlimited sending is Gridless Pro: yearly with a 7-day free trial, monthly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. One person's Pro covers the room for both of you.

Some conversations don't need the whole internet. Just the person in the next room.
