Most detecting apps log finds and trace a wandering GPS line. Gridline Pro does far more — the all-in-one command centre that keeps your sites, permissions, gear and finds organised, shows you exactly where you've searched, and turns a whole club into one team digging the same field, live. Not a detector replacement. The brain behind the swing.
       
COVERAGE INTELLIGENCE — KNOW WHAT YOU ACTUALLY SEARCHED
A GPS squiggle can't tell you if you covered the ground. Gridline can. Draw your field on a satellite map, drop a grid, and paint coverage square by square — an honest picture of what you've cleared and the gaps you've left, not a line to second-guess. Zoom any square for detail, mark no-go zones (trees, water, buildings), and glance at live coverage, finds and time on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island — pause or resume from the Action Button or Control Centre.

DIG TOGETHER — THE WHOLE CLUB, ONE FIELD, LIVE & CROSS-PLATFORM
The one nothing else does. The leader maps a field and shares it by link, email or 6-character code; everyone watches the same grid fill in live.
Hand out squares or let diggers claim their own, log finds to a shared scoreboard, react as they land. Pre-assign squares days ahead with the join code locked until kick-off. Every digger gets the full field; a non-digging leader gets a clean overview of who's on which square. In-app group chat (leaders moderate), guided-return after a break, and an SOS that reaches the team even with phones pocketed.

LEAGUES — clubs compete head-to-head: synced 3·2·1·Go starts, a live podium, and a judged Best Find.

Kids Mode — a safe, playful mode: a big colour-in map, one giant "Found treasure!" button, and Decimus the Roman mascot cheering every find aloud.
Treasures and badges build into their own collection. They can join a grown-up's hunt too. Locked behind a parental PIN, with chat off on a child's device.
Eyes-Free Mode — detecting by ear and touch for blind & low-vision users. Pocket the phone: it speaks the moments that matter and guides you to each square — spoken direction, buzzes that tighten as you face it, a pulse when you're lined up. Loud hazard call-outs, voice notes on finds.
  
LOG FINDS IN SECONDS
Two photos (front/back for a coin), category, star rating, GPS, notes — done.
Drop "revisit" flags on strong signals and walk back to them with the compass, even days later.

SITES, FIELDS & PERMISSIONS — A REAL DATABASE
Landowners and fields, hunt windows ("May–Sept, after harvest"), permission tracking, renewal reminders, and an on-screen-signed agreement you can email the farmer on the spot.

Pair a high-precision external GPS for tighter coverage — an Apple-certified (MFi) RTK unit feeds iOS automatically (the chip shows the real figure, e.g. ±2 cm), or connect a Bluetooth GNSS receiver in Settings. Nothing to buy from us.

YOURS, PRIVATELY
No accounts, no ads, no trackers, and nothing sold — ever. Your solo detecting stays on your device and your own iCloud. Group meets and leagues sync through our relay so iPhone and Android can share a field live — and even there, names, locations, field outlines and chat are encrypted, not stored in plain text, never used for ads or profiling, and never sold. Export a backup, PDF or CSV any time. Honest about what a phone can do: GPS is ±5–8m, so coverage is "approximate area searched" (unless you've an RTK receiver) — far more useful than fake precision.
