## What is Grill Control?

Grill Control is a smart, battery-powered adapter for gas grills that simply attaches to the control knob. With the help of a temperature sensor installed in the grill, the corresponding burner is controlled via an app. With the separately available Companion Device, multiple burners on the grill can be linked together for even more evenly distributed heat.

Trotz der negativen Bewertung in 8/25 zwei Controls gekauft und ausprobiert. Seit Jahren auf dem Markt und immer noch nur ein früher Prototyp, bei dem nichts, wirklich absolut gar nichts funktioniert! Unverschämt so etwas zu verkaufen. 6kg Pulled Pork ruiniert. Werde vom Kaufvertrag zurücktreten.

Funktioniert mit Einschränkungen ganz gut.
Eingestellt sind z. B. 160 Grad und dann fährt das Teil eine ganze Zeit (wenn auch perfekt) 5 Grad zu wenig, um dann nach ca. einer halben Stunden doch plötzlich auf die Zieltemperatur zu gehen. So ganz verstehe ich die Logik dahinter nicht.
Sind in einem Preset mehrere Phasen mit verschiedenen Temperaturen eingestellt, wird die Zieltemperatur der neuen Phase nicht berücksichtigt und weiter die Temperatur der ersten Grillphase gefahren. Ein manueller Temperatureingriff ist da anscheinend leider nicht vorgesehen und man muss leider den gesamten Vorgang abbrechen. Wäre schön, wenn das noch behoben werden könnte. Einfach +/- Buttons zur Temperaturnachsteuerung würden schon helfen.

Erst einmal Chapeau, Chapeau. So was serienreif zu vermarkten. Darauf habe ich schon ewig gewartet, da es die Grillhersteller anscheinend auslassen.
Ein paar Wünsche hätte ich noch:
- Kerntemperatur per BT (Rotisserie, aktuell verwende ich Meater, autark)
- Reichweite-WLAN? Gerade bei Longjobs…
-Sync zwischen den Geräten(Rezept auf iPad angelegt, auf iPhone nicht verfügbar 
- native Unterstützung iPad

It took me less than 5 minutes to set up my new Grill Control app and device, and from there everything worked just great. My first attempt was Bierdozen Henchen (beer-can chicken) and boy was I surprised at how well Grill Control worked. I set up the meat, warmed up the grill, and turned on the Grill Control app and device. From there, I sat back and enjoyed the next hour with no need to fuss. Grill Control did all the work keeping the temperature just right and producing an absolutely fantastic dinner for the family. If you like grilling, I highly recommend this product!

Schon ein paar mal habe ich mein Grill control ausprobiert. Und ich muss sagen es funktioniert top! Ob kerntemperatur im rindfleisch oder Temperatur halten, der Grill regelt sich wie von Geisterhand. Und es macht Spaß zuzuschauen wie das Gerät fein die Temperatur justiert. Das macht Spaß und es schmeckt am Ende auch super :)

Leider wird bis zur Erreichung der Ziel-Temperatur nur zögerlich aufgedreht. Beim Erreichen der Zieltemperatur wir dann nach ca. 1h nicht mehr nachgeregelt, so dass Übertemperaturen von 20Grad keine Seltenheit sind. So kann man das Teil nicht für einen Long Job gebrauchen. Ich denke, dass dies per Update lösbar ist.
