Often, the instructions make no sense. You waste time trying to figure out what the heck they are talking about. It makes simple games more difficult than they need to be. ### 3/5 — Bonus chapter crashes *2023-12-28, version 1.0.8* I enjoyed the game and almost all of the bonus chapter but the app closes as I try to do the final action with the color clearing. The problem started when I began playing the bonus game, I got as far as playing a mini game against the bad guy and the game crashed when I tried to play the match three game. I tried offloading the app and reinstalling the game but it still crashed. Another update is needed please. I was really enjoying the game until one HOP in the bonus game. I completed the first section with symbols then it’s find 7 morphing objects, however nothing morphs. Press hint it shows an area where the object should be you tap and nothing. This is disappointing as I’ve paid but haven’t and can’t complete the game as I am unable to see the alleged morphing objects. There were lots to do in each scene, but still. 9 scenes in the bonus chapter. Very well done, but some mini games have been around so long they have dust on them, others were interesting. Hos were varied, but mainly list. They changed the voice again of Richard, and while he doesn’t sound like a whiny frat boy any more, he’s still not as good as the original but I’ll take it. But they hardly used him, like he was an afterthought, which is weird. Not all the grim tales include him, but when they do he’s usually way more involved. Morphing objects in every scene, screensaver bits scattered about, and collectible photos of the characters to randomly find. All in all enjoyable, but for 18 scenes I cannot give 5 stars. At least when I got it (now) it’s only $1.99, and totally worth that. ### 2/5 — The Ridiculous Task Hand *2020-01-24, version 1.0* This is a brilliant 5 star game only if you can get rid of the annoying task hand taking up half my screen! Even in ‘custom’ the task hand still pops up makes you feel like a child and completely ruins the game. The little extras like the morphing objects provide added interest, and the continuity of this long running story line still holds the attention. As for the constant complaints I see from people about price, is everyone else a 12 year old on an allowance? The game took hours to finish, which works out to a little over a dollar an hour. Come on people, someone put an interactive movie in your hands, do you work for free? Look at the length of the credits for goodness sake! The storyline was captivating, with good character voiceovers, multiple interactive tasks, some original different style puzzles to complete. The hidden object scenes were interactive and fun with lists and silhouettes. I Love ❤️ a good mystery and this one surely did Not disappoint! Price is on the high side, however I feel that this one was well worth it. Graphics were crystal clear and I experienced NO Glitches 😁. I would love to see a lot more games of this caliber. Background music also set the stage. I highly recommend playing the trial and picking this one up for a good who is the killer in this mysterious adventure. I can’t complete the bonus chapter without it crashing.
