Over and over I find myself trying tap something to claim or move it and it just doesn’t work. I’m almost ready to give up because it is way too frustrating. Most items blend into the background so you can't see them even if you find one by accident. The mini games seem ambitious but they don't work correctly. Had to skip a couple because the parts did not slide into the screen so I could even interact with them, even with resets. The motivation of the evil antagonist is entirely opaque, and his actions include attempted child murder for no apparent reason. Giving three stars for the attempt to do something different --for instance extra wide screen sliding scenes-- but it didn't quite come together. ALSO the hint button has a compass on it so it looks like the map button, and it's on the left, where the map/menu buttons are normally (why?) So I keep getting a hint when I actually want the map or menu. Again, why. ### 3/5 — A bit repetitive *2020-11-04, version 1.0.0* It was mild fun. Too many cut scenes, I want to play a game and not practically watch a short movie. The English is very poor so you have to use a lot of guesswork to interpret the instructions in many of the mini games. To top it off I couldn’t finish the bonus chapter because I needed a fourth mosaic piece and although I could find it, it wasn’t possible to pick it up. ### 3/5 — Problems *2020-02-05, version 1.0.0* I like the game but even though other reviews have mentioned the problem with the puppet show and other glitches, like having difficulty picking up items or the monsters, nothing has been done to fix these problems. Been playing their games for years and was really excited when this one I missed came on sale 2.99. As much as I have assisted boosting their sales by 5 stars on every game this one really disappointed me. I downloaded another game to see if the same issue was occurring, nope.... I’m ashamed to say there is major issues with his app. I have clicked and clicked on multiple areas to include hint areas and found no matter how many times I clicked in that area I could not interact with the game. Really frustrating! I have since deleted the game without completion. I miss her father...the interaction between them was fun, and a bit of comic relief. There was none. Puzzles are okay, if not repetitive. I hope the next one has him in it!! The sketch pencil doesn’t seem to be working, and I have had to skip every single painting that required you to complete the sketch so far. Also had to skip several games where I couldn’t progress due to not being able to pick things up. So glad I bought this on sale. Since I’m not that far in I may try reinstalling and restarting. I like the dual worlds aspect, but the game play has been extremely aggravating. ### 1/5 — Not ready for mobile *2020-03-15, version 1.0.0* Tried to play this game on my iPad. Many scenes are so dark, I couldn’t make out the objects. Too often I would have to select an object multiple times before it would move. Aside from being able to pay trial version I’m unable to play full version, even though I bought this game. Such a rip off!! I contacted their customer support & provided them proof of purchase, then they send me info on downloading on Mac, even though I specifically said I’m using iPad Pro. Needless to say I haven’t heard anything back & I’m beyond frustrated, if you guys aren’t going to fix my issue then at least give me my money back or give me another game. It’s not like you haven’t already freaking charge my card. I enjoy them very much. I rarely using skips or hints. I get bored easy when the game is more simply laid out, i.e. using all items found in 2 to 3 rooms before advancing forward in the game. This game catered to my experience and therefore what I enjoy most. Rooms were not complete, they were used through out the game. Items found were used throughout the game in an unpredictable way. The longer puzzles were my favorite, as they were solvable with some thought but not impossible. Needless to say, I was very pleasantly surprised with this game this morning.
