I love the graphics and it's simple enough to play while out and about. Unfortunately I can't get past the third pub crawl on the first level! My buggy stops moving at the same place and won't do anything more. I've tried to reinstall and everything. And some top hatted madman wants your baby. That is a good enough premise to last an entire game. The art in this game is, well, it is artistic. So many iOS games have day glow cartoon characters who traipse about in remakes of Super Mario World. Not this game. The baby buggy lives in a charcoal grey punctuated by the occasional red balloons, blue water, and dripping green slime. The promise of more inventive art is enough motivation to get you through the many challenging sequences (and I mean "challenging" in a good way). The controls are also interesting, but not always interesting in a good way. Tilting the iDevice will roll the baby buggy left or right. Tapping a large circle will jump. Tapping a small circle will stop (which is very helpful). Pulling down will set your baby up for launch Angry Birds style. The scheme works, just not well enough. Often the buggy is slow to respond to a jump, resulting in unintentional and frustrating death. There are also a few glitches, such as the baby buggy falling through the floor, exiting a level without the baby, and getting the baby stuck. One particular cut scene with a bird stealing the baby to its nest was repeated over and over if your baby buggy is mauled by a bear. Unskippable cutscenes are lesser crimes against humanity. The updates are appreciated. Even with the dings of bugs and janky controls, Grimm: Ride of the Perambulator is a stellar game. ### 2/5 — Ridiculous *2013-07-18, version 1.2* It's ridiculous that I can't pass one of the levels I have tried and tried and tried there is a bit of a glitch in the Grimm attack construction! ### 4/5 — Unique and exclusive *2012-11-21, version 1.2* I loved this game though being simple or casual platform game it impress me with art and graphics. ### 3/5 — Glitch. *2012-11-05, version 1.2* There is a glitch on Faerie Kindom 3 when you have to get past the False Mother after she has discovered your trick. The first time I played the level there was a pink bubble that would carry you above, but when I tried to replay the level there is no longer a bubble and it's impossible to get past her. ### 4/5 — Fun .. But too many controls *2012-10-31* This game has a great story, an awesome theme, and originality. I really enjoy this game. My only problem is that there are way too many different controls in this game. If you enjoy thinking outside of the box and coming up with conclusions fast then this is your type of game. But makers of the game, please consider cutting down the controls to three or two different actions rather than 10 .
