## What is GrindWise?

GrindWise is the espresso coach for home baristas who want consistently great coffee without becoming coffee nerds.

Every morning, pull a shot like you normally would. Then open the app and tap how it tasted. Sour? Bitter? Just right? GrindWise tells you exactly one thing to try for your next shot. No jargon. No spreadsheets. No guesswork.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Log your shot in under 20 seconds. Tap how it tasted, add your time, dose, and yield if you have them.
2. Get one clear suggestion. Not five options. One specific adjustment, in plain English, with a short explanation of why.
3. Pull your next shot with that adjustment. Log it. Get better.

The more you log, the smarter the suggestions get. GrindWise tracks patterns across your last several shots and adjusts its advice when you overcorrect, when your shots zigzag between sour and bitter, or when your beans are too fresh to dial in reliably.

SMART BAG SCAN

Starting a new bag of beans? Point your camera at the label. GrindWise reads the roaster, origin, and roast level, then gives you a personalized starting point for your grind, dose, and yield. No more wasting five shots every time you switch beans.

LEARN AS YOU GO

GrindWise teaches you real espresso vocabulary as you use it. You will learn what extraction and strength mean, how dose and yield affect your shot, and why your grind size matters. Not from a textbook, but from suggestions that explain themselves in context.

The Learn tab covers espresso drink ratios, how to steam milk, puck prep basics, and what to expect from different roast levels. All free, no paywall.

TRACK MULTIPLE BAGS

Keep up to four bags active at once. Switch between them with one tap. Each bag has its own shot history, best shot marker, and cost-per-shot tracking. Archive old bags when you are done with them, or delete them entirely.

BUILT FOR YOUR MACHINE
