## What is Griotta?

Buying has become almost frictionless. Griotta gives you a moment to think before speed makes the decision for you.

Choose the shopping apps where you want a pause. When you try to open one, Griotta steps in first and gives the urge a little time to slow down.

Then the choice is yours:

Walk away: you changed your mind.
Plan it: give yourself more time and come back later.
Buy now:  you still want it.

None of these choices is wrong. Griotta isn’t designed to stop you from spending. It’s designed to make the decision more intentional.

Planned purchases are easier to revisit.

You can now reopen a planned decision directly from your Journal, then choose to walk away, keep thinking, or go ahead.

We also redesigned the revisit experience to match the latest Axyom design.

Getting started with Axyom is now faster and smoother.

• Onboarding questions are now optional
• A simpler progress experience makes setup feel lighter
• Improved first-run flow and activation
• Small reliability improvements throughout the app

Axyom 1.6 rebuilds the app around your decisions.

• New Journal home: every pause and every choice in one place, kept automatically.
• Pause impact: see the amount paused, walked away from, planned, and bought. Amounts stay in the currency each pause was recorded in.
• Redesigned Pause Layer: one clear screen to choose your pause points, set once.
• A calmer first run: pick where impulse buying starts for you, and Axyom reflects your pattern back in plain language.
• Choose your pause length in Profile. The pause runs in whole breaths.
• Smoother Screen Time setup with clear guidance, and no repeated permission prompts.
• Financial context is now optional and simpler. Approximate amounts are enough.
• Reset now removes your data everywhere, including our servers.
• A rewritten Privacy screen that matches exactly what the app does.

Introducing Pause Layer — an optional, calm pause before the apps where you tend to spend on impulse.

• Pick the apps where impulse buys happen. When you open one, Axyom shows a brief pause first.
• Take a one-minute breath, then decide with a clearer head — continue, or walk away with the money still yours.
• Off by default and fully in your control. Your app choices stay private on your device — Axyom never sees which apps you pick or what you do inside them.

Plus refinements across Plan, Coach, and Profile.
