## What is Grocery Flow?

The grocery list, optimised.

Most digital shopping lists are static. They are simply paper
moved to a screen. They do not account for the physical reality
of your local supermarket: the aisles, the specific layout, and
the unnecessary doubling back when you realise the eggs were
three sections ago.

Grocery Flow solves this by paying attention.

How it works:
There is no manual setup or tedious store mapping. You simply
use the app. As you shop and tick items off, Grocery Flow learns
the geographical sequence of your specific route through your
specific store, shopping for your specific items.

The next time you walk into that store, your list is not just a
collection of items; it is a sorted itinerary.

Features:
Passive Route Learning: The app learns your shop's layout as
you use it.

Store-Specific Memory: It distinguishes between different shops,
remembering that your local Aldi is not laid out like the Tesco
near work.

Custom Lists: Build named templates for your regular shops and
load them with a single tap.

Smart Import: Copy text from any source and the app will
intelligently extract your items.

Privacy by Design: Your data is yours. It stays on your device,
not on a server. There is nothing uploaded to the cloud and no
personal details required.

No Subscriptions: There are no in-app purchases and no hidden
fees. It is just a tool that works.

I built this because I wanted a tool that respected my time.
It is a simple solution to a universal inefficiency.

### 4/5 — So much more than a shopping list

*2026-04-20*

If you hate going back and forth across a supermarket because you’ve missed something then this is the app for you, frustration free shopping, brilliant

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-04-14*

This app is very good. I always use it and love that I can make multiple list and that way I am able to have my shop already there. It’s great as well because you know straight away if you have forgotten something.

### 5/5 — Excellent easy to use app

*2026-03-24*

This is a really easy to use app. I always forget things around the shop and end up walking back to the first isle to get what I’ve forgotten. At least this way I’m ticking it off as I go. Save so much time.

### 5/5 — Great little app- learns quick

*2026-03-08*

Bought as I was fed up of playing pinball around the shops with the other half… terrible for your fitness as it’s already halved my steps on the Sunday shopping trip! 😂

Custom Lists
Build named templates for your regular shops — Big Shop,
Camping, Baking, whatever makes sense for you. Load one
with a tap to populate your list instantly, or save your
current list as a template for next time.

Smarter Catalogue
Items you buy regularly now rise to the top of the catalogue,
so the things you actually need are always close to hand.

Place Unsorted Items
New items can now be pressed and held to place them roughly
where they belong in your route — near the fruit, near the
cleaning products, wherever makes sense. The app learns the
exact position after your first shop.

Tidier Experience
The toolbar has been consolidated into a cleaner Actions menu.
Item names are normalised automatically so duplicates from
inconsistent capitalisation are a thing of the past. The store
name is now tappable. Small things, but they add up.

What's New in Version 1.1:

Smart Pasting: Copying a recipe? Just paste a comma separated list of ingredients straight into the quick add box, and Grocery Flow will automatically split them into individual items for you.

Pause Learning: Just popping in for a quick top up? You can now clear your trolley at the end of a shop without altering your carefully learned aisle routes.

Manual Routing: Items placed in the wrong spot? You can now forcefully send unsorted items directly into your learned route, or manually nudge items up and down your list.

Under the Hood: We have squashed a few visual bugs, polished the new user setup, and made saving your data much more efficient.
