I love the idea here, but the execution needs a little more thought. For instance, adding “1 onion” from a recipe, all that gets added is “onions”, which doesn’t really help.

thank you for your app review and critique, I just added version 1.2 of the app, which is now also able to recognize amounts and units in texts.
