The biggest thing it misses is a search to find an item in your list. ### 2/5 — Needs more editing options *2026-01-13, version 1.4.0* Not working particularly well for me at the moment. It’s a US oriented list and out of five added items, three of them do not appear on the default lists. These are not unusual items, such as drain unblocker and washing up liquid, brandy. If I could easily add them to their natural category, ie ‘cleaning’ that wouldn’t be too bad but the only way I can see to add an item is to create a new folder and add it to that. And even that process is not obvious. It should be possible to create new items within their appropriate folders. I would be willing to pay the modest premium price but not until this basic feature is added and there is no indication that you would have this option if you pay premium. It’s a basic oversight. ### 3/5 — Family sharing didn’t work *2025-08-25, version 1.4.0* I paid for premium and shared a collaboration link, but the app asked the other person to upgrade to premium in order collaborate. Most other apps offer deleting shopping items already in the cart, not this app—this would be tremendously useful but is missing. It is weird, also, that it auto-creates new items without you even wanting to add a new item but that’s a small issue I can live with. Also, I couldn’t be specific. I couldn’t type in “red” cabbage. The app wanted me to use the general word “cabbage “. While you tend to have a big list with all your items that you usually keep stocked at home, you won’t necessarily need to buy each item every trip. What would really make sense is the ability to make a inventory list of ALL the things you typically like to keep in stock from a particular store. Having the inventory list helps remind you of all the things to check at home. While doing so, simply check off the items you need, add their quantity, and then the app should send it to a one time trip list. Once that grocery trip is done you should be able to delete that trip list, and repeat the process the next trip. ### 3/5 — Syncing *2022-12-03, version 0.9.2* I just got this app. Wish I could sync my iPad and iPhone! If there’s a way please let me know ### 2/5 — Easier to Use the Notes App *2022-11-26, version 0.9.2* I was looking for a new shopping list app as the one I had been using was deleting items on its own (before I had checked them off, causing me to forget to pick them up). This one looked promising but there are little things that just irritate me. When I add an item, it auto-populates a new item in that category. I hate that because normally I’m not looking to add another item to that specific category right away and so there “new item” sits as though it’s something I’m shopping for. Also, I don’t see a way to mass clear the checked items, so I have to go through one by one and delete them once I’m done. I have checked to make sure all the settings are correct on my phone and tablet and ……..nothing. I want my $2.99 back.
