And u should NOT have to pay, like its horrible quality and they could at least make it free! **Developer response:** To have an accepted account Parents have to pay a one-time payment. But there is just one problem. Every time I scroll to look at a new video the next video that is gonna play when I scroll is already playing so I hear 2 things at once. That is really the only problem wrong with this app. They just need to fix the sound things but everything else is smooth and nothing else is wrong with this app. It really is an amazing app I would recommend you get it and if you have the app I would like to see what’s happening on your side of the app and if there are any more glitches because if there are you should write a review and let the people who built this app more and what they need to fix that is wrong with the app. If it didn’t have glitches I would give it a 5 star and even though it still has glitches I’m having fun so far because my parents won’t let me use TikTok and this app is just like it. My parents said I’m to young to have tik tok so I got this about 5 months ago so we did some research and saw that this was the best option. But here’s the thing. After 2 months of having it my account got banned, we tried to email GROM and they still have not responded. My account was super innocent and had no reason to be taken down. I have signed up a new account and from what I see it is getting better, but also is just the same, Also It’s not as smooth as tik tok at all. Is really slow and has a ton of glitches, even the simplest things as answering a DM is difficult and slow. And I don’t understand why we can’t have our own pfp. Nothing else. The app itself is just extremely buggy and you can tell that the creators couldn’t care less. There have been constant bugs that have been around for years and reported many times and they choose to do nothing such as, the sound glitch, the “oops” glitch, the music glitch, and the loading glitch. It’s extremely laggy and isn’t worth your time. The videos are extremely short and the sounds you can use are all very stupid and have been used hundreds of times. **Developer response:** Oh no! How am I supposed to know what that means? Did I enter in the wrong password? Is the app down for bug fixes? Please specify better and care about your customers. I feel like it was an app MADE BY KIDS. Very unorganized. All the reviews I’ve already read complain about how slow it is and yet, it’s STILL NOT FIXED. This App is very laggy. Very glitchy. Very slow. And I’m not giving you my bank info just so my son can comment. That is a real easy excuse to scam someone later on. I would not recommend. I CANT BELIVE THIS HAPPENED *2021-08-17, version 1.0.22* I got this app because 11 years old and I love too dance but my parents won’t let me have tiktok, Twitter, Snapchat, basically any Social media. So as soon as you get the app you have to sign in or log in which I did, I clicked sign up. Then it was fine until about the 3-5th video I saw when it’s started glitching so much to the point that I had to skip the video because it wasn’t working, then I kept watching and every two videos it glitches or the video turns all black!! So I deleted the app and got it again and it still didn’t work so you are better off not getting this app I can’t believe this work was first to pop up and doesn’t even work also when you go to film the video of your self the songs aren’t the trendy songs, the best song they have and the most trendy is the one that starts by saying “dancing in my room, swaying my feet” don’t get this app- **Developer response:** We have been updating the app Always check for updates. They can also walk you through any technical support. ### 2/5 — My rating *2020-07-21, version 1.0.14* I have this app a 2 star because it has a really good concept, to make social media safe for kids and I agree it did that there are just a few problems I want to point out if you want to get your child this app. The app isn’t very “organized” like tik tok. A lot of kids say they want to get tik tok but they are too young so when I saw this I thought I might get this for my daughter. So I made a fake account just to see what it’s all about. And the videos were just scattered everywhere you could comment unless you wanted to pay $1. I think this app tries to make social media safe for kids but they also want to take money. My suggestion is that you can get this for your kid he/she will be safe, but I don’t recommend it. **Developer response:** We don't allow comments without ensuring parent approval and we follow COPPA compliances standards in order to provide the most safe environment for young users. In addition we have made a lot of app improvements since last July. ### 3/5 — i'm pretty neutral. *2023-06-04* On the better side of this app, it's pretty much a safe version of tiktok. It has wonderful features. The filters are fun, the music is great, I could see lots of kids haven't lots of fun with it. Although, there has to be a whole other account for a parent, on that account you have to connect it to the childs account. Then, you have to pay a dollar for your child to get to post or comment.
