I don’t like apps that farm all your data! Also too many bad reviews. Prices are too high. To much AI generated media. Not for me. ### 2/5 — Basic Features Malfunction *2026-08-02* For such a pricey app I would expect for basic functionality to be a lot better. The audio doesn’t play automatically as you can tell it’s meant to, and even when a video is selected , you often still need to tap the mute button on and off again to get the sound to start playing. Then, after about 15 seconds, the sound cuts off again. Smh. I wouldn’t try taking a master class in 15 second malfunction bursts butane that’s just me . **Developer response:** Hi! This app is great to gather ideas and prepare a different meal from the usual! Minor gripe: a few updates back, you could access the conversations you had with your ai assistant, without needing to go to a specific recipe, that seems so have been removed and I lost some conversations with replacements and pairings I had. **Developer response:** Hi Sergio! I do get that these apps have high quality content and need people to pay to maintain that. However, it feels like these apps are relying on people forgetting that the 7 day trial is up or being too lazy to cancel, and generating income that way. What would be MUCH better is delivering value (having some content be free) and then letting people opt in to paying once the value has been demonstrated!! Review them for accuracy and full details in the method of preparation. ### 4/5 — Lagging *2026-02-12* Most videos lag. Some videos are incomplete, good thing the recipes are complete. However, the app experience really gets on my nerves. First of all, you can’t avoid the videos autoplaying. I hate autoplay video. It’s takes over whatever you were listening to when you launch the app. Secondly, there’s no way to print or export the recipes in any way. When I want to try a recipe from Gronda, I usually end up writing the recipe by hand. I prefer to import recipes into other apps where I can take notes and refer to them later. Another nitpick is that it’s not very good at searching recipes by ingredient, or technique. It would also be nice to search recipes by equipment, such as thermomix or pacojet. Hopefully the experience improves before my next renewal comes due. **Developer response:** Hi there! Poke “wholes” the instead of “holes”? I could go on. One could attribute this to the fact that maybe not all chefs know how to spell, but the errors are so consistent across the recipes that they cannot be attributed to individual chefs. Dass hierfür eine Gebühr anfällt, ist auch ok. Ich muss jedoch den kompletten Anmeldeprozess abschließen und dann noch auf „kaufen“ klicken, ohne irgendwo zu lesen, was dieses App nach Anlauf der Testphase kostet. Das geht gar nicht. Steht zu eurem Produkt und dem Preis und geht offen damit um. Ich persönlich mag solch intransparente Produkte nicht und habe daher das App sofort wieder gelöscht, ohne auf „kaufen“ oder kostenlos testen zu klicken. Schade eigentlich. Übrigens ist dies meine vierte Bewertung die ich jemals geschrieben habe. Normalerweise mache ich mir die Mühe nicht. Now I am hooked into a $129 payment with an app with just nice food pictures on it. It is just a waste of money and can’t refund. **Developer response:** Hey there!
