What search shows • A rate you did not make public no longer appears, neither on the profile nor in the filters. • A professional whose return date has passed becomes available again without reopening the app. • Every trade now shows under its real name. Your location • The distance shown is rounded to the kilometre. Your exact address can no longer be inferred from a series of searches. Two trades, not one • A professional can now declare a second trade and becomes findable under both. Stable hand AND rider, groom AND carer: no need to choose. Work availability is three checkboxes now • Part-time, full-time, freelance — tick what fits, alone or together. Ticking two widens the search instead of emptying it. What you reported • Blocking then unblocking someone now shows on screen, both ways. • The first card in "Near you" no longer looks empty: it was your own profile. • A profile without a photo shows the professional's initials instead of a grey block. • The Favourites screen loads again. Easier typing • The keyboard no longer covers the bottom bar and closes when you tap elsewhere. Each field opens the right keyboard. Filtering by availability • All four choices are back: any availability, today, this week, this month. The previous version offered only two. • They finally mean something. A professional who is away but has given a return date shows up as soon as that date falls inside the period you picked — search "this month" and you'll see the one coming back in three weeks, not just those free right now. Privacy • Your contact details — email, phone, date of birth, exact address, emergency contact — are no longer reachable from other accounts. Only what you choose to show on your profile is. Contact us • One address for everything: contact@groom-up-company.com ### 1.0.14 — 2026-08-03 This release mostly repairs things that were failing silently. The app now tells you what is going on. Error messages • No more English leaking through: "Invalid login credentials" now reads properly in your language, and so does everything else. • When an action fails, it says so. A favourite that didn't go through used to fill the heart and empty it again without a word; now you know to try again. Your settings • They no longer overwrite each other across devices. Turning notifications off on your phone no longer undoes what you set elsewhere. • Changing your password now signs out every device — which is what you expect when you change it because you think you've been compromised. Privacy • Hiding your profile now hides your portfolio and reviews too. They stayed visible. • Clearing your address also clears the point that placed you on the map. Favourites • You can no longer favourite yourself, or add a rider where only a professional makes sense. • Tapping "X added you to their favourites" finally opens that person's profile. Map and search • Panning the map is noticeably smoother. • Search can no longer return the entire directory at once. And plenty of quiet work • Two nightly maintenance jobs that had never run now do. • Form error messages are announced to screen readers. • The layout follows rotation and split screen. Search • Results no longer stop at 20: you finally see every professional found. • The "Sort by" menu actually sorts — distance, rating, price up or down. • Searching for a region takes you to that region. • Trade filters cover every trade, and the counter tells the truth. Map • Markers show professionals' photos again on Android. • Improved stability on iPhone. Your account • Signing in no longer sends you back to profile creation. • Signing out no longer claims you lost your subscription. • "Hide my profile" now really makes you invisible. • Rider profiles can be viewed again. Reviews • Professionals can now review riders, just as riders review professionals. A review requires that you actually exchanged messages. • "My reviews" separates what you received from what you wrote. Display • On enlarged screens, the search button and filters no longer overflow.
