I love the shaver. I reloaded GroomTribe and after a month using the brand new shaver the app is showing 31% of life remaining on the blades. I’ve been a Phillips user for over 60 years and I can tell that I have that number is no where near accurate. I have seen the same comment by others. The developer needs to change how this percentage is calculated. In addition, the app doesn’t show the correct replacement for my cleaning pod. For whatever reason it shows the old Philips JetClean fluid. The app is useless. ### 3/5 — Battery drain *2026-07-09, version 9.4.0* As the other reviewer said, the shaver does not disconnect from Bluetooth when the app is closed. I’ve reported this and was told there was a fix in via firmware update to the shaver with the Android version. I had an Android tablet, Installed the app and there was no firmware update and the shaver still suffers from battery drain. So, have I been told something that wasn’t true??? Not what you want from a support team. I have found a workaround: 1. Close app when finished. 2. Go to Bluetooth settings, find the shaver disconnect from Bluetooth and click the (i) to remove permission from groom tribe. 3. Leave it 10 minutes, check the shaver has disconnected then re enable groom tribe. Disappointed in the poor customer service. Especially when the shaver is so expensive. I shouldn’t have to come up with a workaround. Update: I have received a reply from Philips. All I can say is that the app is on the latest version, there have been no further updates to the shaver so it is at the latest version. That was the first thing I double checked. It’s not my phone, it’s your software. Will there be any comment about my being told there was a fix on Android, and I could download the latest firmware for my shaver there, when I did that, there was no update at all. ### 2/5 — App muss man ja haben, oder? *2026-07-07* Vor der Kopplung muss ich mein Modell auswählen, App kann das Gerät wohl nicht erkennen: ein ⭐️ Abzug. Dann die Meldung, dass die Scherköpfe ersetzt werden müssen. Klickst du auf Kaufen, bekommst du alle möglichen Modelle angezeigt. Ja, wozu wähle ich eigentlich mein Rasierermodell aus???
