If it says 30 minutes, be prepared to wait 90. The cons: sometimes it gives the rider a different pickup location than what it gives the driver. Also not sure if it’s the app or the drivers, but sometimes my ride doesn’t end after I get dropped off. I waited outside for an hour at pickup spot. Said driver was there. Was not there. Called and email nothing. I lost my free ride and still haven’t gotten it back. Every pick up and drop off location is different. I’m walking blocks from my drop off as I type this. Please change to make the pick up and drop off easier. It’ll just say a corner and they will say it’s not the right corner look at you and make you run. I like the price but I’m getting to the point where I’m about to start using Uber again. ### 2/5 — Used to be good but now is slacking *2022-06-20* Groove used to be a lifesaver a year ago; now its hard to book one and now you have to wait almost 30 mins to even get picked up after continuously getting the “we’re booked” message. If its gonna be like this then I’ll just go back to using the bus and/or Uber/Lyft. It’s sad how whenever Memphis tries to implement something useful it never works out long-term. Get better drivers, longer routes, less wait times and stop dropping/picking us up 2 blocks from our original destination. ### 3/5 — Service is iffy, but you can’t beat $1.25/ride *2023-10-06* Groove is hit or miss: sometimes it works beautifully and other times it has you waiting outside in the blazing heat for 45 minutes waiting for a ride that never shows up. That said, the $1.25/ride fee is hard to beat.
