## What is Grooved?

See your tennis swing the way a coach does. Film side-on, and Grooved traces an animated skeleton onto your stroke, measures how repeatable it is, and shows you what changed. All of it runs on your phone.

Grooved is not a match-stats app. It is about the form and consistency of one stroke, which is the thing that actually makes your tennis better.

SKELETON ANALYSIS
Scrub your swing frame by frame with the pose drawn on, or open the contact sheet to see every keyframe at once. Backswing, contact, and follow-through are marked for you.

CONSISTENCY, NOT A GRADE
Grooved scores how repeatable your swings are across a session and charts it over time. It is a relative measure of your own repeatability. It is not a skill rating, and it never pretends to be one.

TECHNIQUE CHECKPOINTS
Pick the stroke you are working on, forehand, backhand, slice, or serve, and Grooved checks the checkpoints that actually apply to it.

BEFORE AND AFTER
Ghost-overlay a swing from today on a swing from your first session. Seeing your old shape next to your new one is the clearest proof that the work is landing.

A PRACTICE PROGRAM THAT DOES NOT NEED A COURT

Sharper video, better swing detection, and a clearer read on every swing.

RECORDING
Fixed a bug that recorded at a far lower resolution than intended, which is why clips looked soft. The guided camera now holds a sharp 1080p at 60fps and keeps focus and exposure tracking through the swing.

SWING DETECTION
One stroke is now one stroke. A takeback and a follow-through are no longer counted as separate swings.
Cuts between clips are no longer mistaken for swings. On an edited video that used to hide the real tennis behind the edits.

STROKE RECOGNITION
Grooved now tells seven motions apart instead of three: forehand and backhand drives, forehand and backhand slices, serve, overhead, and volley, plus two-handed backhands.
Where two shots share one motion, Grooved says so instead of guessing. A drop shot and a slice look identical to a camera, so it will not pretend otherwise.

EVERY SWING, CLEARER
The per-swing screen now opens with the answer: which checkpoints held, which are worth working on, and a drill for each one. The measurements behind it moved into a section you can open whenever you want them.
Shoulder turn is now described in words. A side-on camera cannot measure rotation in degrees, so it no longer prints a number as if it could.

SHARING
The highlight clip now picks your best-scoring swing rather than simply the clearest one, exports noticeably faster, and the skeleton overlay can be switched off.
The consistency card and the before-and-after overlay have been removed.

FIXES
Importing a video no longer looks frozen, and picking the same video twice now works.
