It has its moments like any other app does at times. But it’s really simple and easy to learn, speaking as someone who’s used a lot of different apps ### 3/5 — Struggling but Functional *2026-07-07* This app has a lot of potential. But as a student trying to use the service, I find it lacking. Class chats aren’t unique and spam anyone who’s signed up for the class ever. I want to be able to chat with my community without annoying everyone else! It struggles in a lot of ways, but they keep updating which means they try! ### 3/5 — Features don’t load *2026-02-09* Conceptually, it’s a fantastic app and has been great for my aerial studio. However, I don’t know if it’s because my old XS is too old for the app or what but most features won’t load or process. I’m unable to switch between the two studios, when I go to book another class it defaults me to the other studio I’m not booking at. Also, the back button, the notification button and the shopping cart button don’t function for me. I press either of them and they don’t register. I also wish there was a dedicated section for shows and tickets. Hopefully this review will help get these concerns resolved. ### 3/5 — Good but could improve *2025-04-30, version 1.0.48* Great app overall, love the reminders 2 hours before, but I wish you could book more than one class at a time. It’s really frustrating to have to pay the booking fee for each individual class, when I want to book a week or two weeks worth of classes it’s tedious having to go through everything for each one ### 3/5 — Has potential *2025-03-18* Not a bad app overall, but I worry it will cost businesses potential customers as days they have advertise classes on their IG reflects differently and I’m guessing incorrectly in the app. ### 4/5 — Feedback *2025-02-17* Doesn’t seem to be anywhere in app to submit feedback. This app has a lot of potential and a lot of cool elements, but has a few issues that could use a tidy up. For example, when booking a class you have to click through several screens (many of which are repeating information), and then are taken back to the Home Screen and have to start the process over, rather than being taken back to the day you were booking on. This makes booking several classes extremely time consuming and laborious. Additionally, when booking classes you are unable to see what class you’re already booked into, which has lead to several instances of double booking and more confusion than necessary. Cancelled classes still show up on your ‘me’ page under future classes, and you can’t see that its one you’ve cancelled unless you click on it and scroll along to the date of the class. Also, using ‘passes’ from cancelled classes is different from the general bookings, which makes them more challenging to use (didn’t even realise I had them until a peer told me it was a thing) I’m assuming these are things that will improve in the future but I’d also recommend a feedback submission section so this could be submitted there rather than as a review. The app has so much potential and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes, but in the current state it’s quite tricky for the structure of the studio I attend ### 3/5 — So much potential *2024-07-04, version 1.0.24* This app has so much potential. I wish that you could book the same class every week in one easy way (a button that says book this class every week, or book same class next week) as the booking system can be very long if you do a lot of classes. The calendar tends to open at the beginning of the year which is awkward, would be nice if it opened up on the current week. Excited to see where this app goes though ### 5/5 — So many features! *2024-05-15* So happy with Groovio and the amount of features suited exactly for my Pole and Aerials Studio. It’s designed to make things easier and the app is super easy for students to navigate and use. Difficult to use, notifications that mean nothing ### 1/5 — Waitlist spam *2026-05-19* Once you are on a waitlist, it just keeps spamming you about open spots with no clear way of stopping it.. ### 1/5 — Double bookings *2026-02-16* It lets you double book a class. I’ll be signed up for a class and when I go to sign up for a future date of that same class it gives me the option to sign up for previous dates of that class, even though I already am. So multiple spots on a class can be taken by just one person. ### 1/5 — Have to update app every time I log in *2025-06-11* Too many updates. Every time I open the app an update is required. I get that improvement is good, but it feels so clunky and is really not great when in a hurry. I wish you could also set up a profile with pre-loaded location preferences. It’s annoying having to specify my studio every time. ### 1/5 — Stuck on one studio *2025-05-05* App gets stuck on one studio. Logging out and logging back in doesn’t fix it. Deleting the app and reinstalling it doesn’t fix it. Each time logging in it takes me to a studio that isn’t linked with a location and with no option to get out of it. Really disappointing when studios only offer this platform for booking. ### 2/5 — Annoying bug *2026-06-30* Please fix the bug that pops up an alert every time I book a class telling me the app doesn’t have access to my calendar. I don’t want the app to have access to my calendar. ### 2/5 — Too many notifications *2026-04-07* Sends notifications and emails for everything, no way to manage what gets notified e.g. I am aware my class is in 120 mins so I’d like to have the option to turn it off. It also adds to my calendar automatically which is nice so again no need to be reminded of everything. ### 2/5 — Issues as a student *2025-11-29* While I am very aware the app is relatively new, but it would be nice as a student to be able to: 1. Remove cards on file (at the moment, you can only add a card but not remove any) 2. Disconnect from a studio (I currently have 7 studios I’m connected to; 2 of which are no longer using Groovio and I can’t remove them) These are things I feel that should be able to be fixed from a student and not require a studio intervention. Thanks ### 2/5 — Could be so much better *2025-11-13* This app could be a great way of managing classes, but it’s so buggy. There are many instances where you navigate to a page, only to find the ‘back’ arrow is not responsive - the only way to get out of the page is to quit the app and start over. Unfortunately I’m forced to use it as my studio manages their booking this way - so please please please fix these super basic things!! ### 2/5 — Constant Updates *2025-06-18* The app works but every time I go to open it, there's been an update which must be downloaded before I can use it. I read a review from a year ago… and that feature came out ages ago already. If there’s an issue, which there rarely is - it’s resolved quickly. If you need support, they’re on had to help so quickly. Groovio cares and really puts the customers at the front of their development.
