Three stars only I’m afraid...and a bit reluctant to give it three. ### 2/5 — Audio Notes don’t work on iPad *2020-06-17* Can’t get the audio I notes to work. It's astounding that all the hand writing an Apple Pencil apps are just sheets of paper, no agendas. And all the agenda apps neglect hand writing. I don't understand it. Agendas and planners are the most needed places for handwriting. I thought I had found it because this ad popped up when I search for Apple Pencil. No luck. No hand writing support. ### 3/5 — Good start *2016-12-25* Features are what you might want in an app of this nature, however not great if you want to use a pen. Writing is not possible in the main note taking area and unresponsive in the drawing area. I use iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. ### 4/5 — Very good! *2015-08-13, version 3.3* I have had this app for about 3 years and it is the best one out there so far but......why can't I save the the recordings to my IOS Cloud instead of Dropbox? You really need to work on that and the other problem is I saved all to Dropbox and half did not even show up and I lost some very significant recordings! We need to be able to format the text in our notes with colors, italics, bold, highlighting, underline, various sizes of fonts within the notes ...... Right now, we select the font and font size for the entire note and it's difficult to make anything stand out! 2. The tabs on the left don't all show ... Just a small portion of what I have shows up and I have to scroll up and down which is confusing at times -- these tabs should also be able to be LABELED & we need more icon choices!!! Great app -- just give us more options and flexibility and I would use it everyday instead of for special projects:). ### 3/5 — Almost Perfect *2014-11-27, version 3.2* I am absolutely in love with this app BUT... 1) it would be awesome if you could download a recording that is already saved on your phone/iPad. I don't like that I must be in the app to do a voice recording. 2) you have to buy the app twice if you want it on your iPhone and iPad. That's crappy. 3) you can custom arrange the tabs in order in which you want them. It's irritating because ones I don't use often are at the top and ones I always access are at the bottom. NO working backup or sync, no working iPhone version. I paid for a nice looking but useless freaking app. Must be nice to pocket people's hard earned $ & not do anything to deserve it. ID RATHER HAVE AN UGLY APP THAT ACTUALLY WORKS. ### 1/5 — Very Disappointed! *2015-09-01, version 3.3* I really wanted to love this application, smh. Very glitchy shuts down when it wants. For logo options for tabs we should be able to insert any picture we want. Everything else is just ok. I thought I could hand write my notes like I can in "Notability" or "Goodnotes". You can only type and record, no handwriting unless you choose to add attachment to "sketch" only. If you really prefer to hand write notes as well as record for lectures in class choose the other above options. Unlike the other review, I do not have adds in mine at all. I wish I could get my money back. Not worth $3.99. This application needs a lot of work to be comparable to other great apps of its kind. ### 1/5 — Nope *2013-07-12* Can't even get past the first page ### 1/5 — Bad App!!! *2013-05-29, version 3.0* Don't waste your money. This is not worth it. It's not even password protected. Anyone who borrows or steals your ipad has full access to this app and all of your info. Don't buy it. I wasted my money. Wish I never bought it. It's not like the drop box at all. It will send things to your Dropbox but that is it. If you want safe files go get the USB app. It is far more worth your money. When I type a note and then close the app without closing the keyboard, it does not save. It seems when I close the keyboard it does save the note. But I do use and enjoy this one on my iPad. ### 5/5 — Uniquely Annoying *2015-06-27, version 3.3* I would rate the app much higher were it not for one very annoying thing - this is the only app I have ever "purchased" (paid money for) which still bombards me with ads (albeit from the app developer). I would not have purchased the app had I known this. It is constantly insisting I purchase an additional app for my iPhone. I do not own an iPhone. I do not own any smart phone nor do I ever intend to. So, no matter how many times it blocks my access to the app with a pop-ad for a smart phone product, I will not only be unwilling to purchase it - I will be unable to purchase it because I do not have a platform on which to install it. There should be a way to disable these annoying pop-ups within the app. Then I could enjoy the app as I had expected to (ad free) when I paid money for it.
