I’m 38 in Chicago, watching my social circle shrink as people got busy. Meetups were too task-oriented - you play chess, then what?

Groucho is different. After onboarding, I matched with a group. We’ve met twice now, and hours fly by. The scaffolded questions handle the awkwardness, and because it’s opt-in, not a swipe-fest, people are actually listening.

The execution works. Worth every dollar.

This is by far the best social media concept conceived since, say, Instagram. And it has the real capacity to develop authentic communities.
