## What is Grounders?

Grounders is a location-based social app for posts that mean something because of where they were taken.

Every photo or video you post sticks to its GPS coordinates as a pin on a shared map. Your friends — and, if you choose, the public — can find your post by being near where it happened. Reactions only count when someone is within 500 meters of the spot. There's no infinite scroll, no algorithm guessing what you should see — just a map of real places and real moments.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Capture photos and videos with the in-app camera, anchored to where you are
• Drop posts as Public or Friends-only, your choice on each one
• Mark "safe zones" around your home, work, or anywhere you want kept off the map — posts inside a safe zone are hidden, and you can't react to others' posts from inside one either
• Add friends ("grounders") by phone number; tap any pin to see who posted and when
• React with emoji to friends' and public posts when you're nearby
• Get notified when someone reacts to your post or sends a friend request

PRIVACY YOU CAN UNDERSTAND
• Phone-number sign-in only — no email, no social logins, no scraping your contacts
• Location is read while the app is open; off when you close it
• Safe zones are entirely private — no one else sees them and posts inside them aren't broadcast
• You can delete your account from inside the app at any time
• You can block any user, and report any post, from inside the app

PERMISSIONS WE ASK FOR
• Location — to anchor your posts and show you what's nearby
• Camera, microphone, photos — to capture posts (mic is only used while recording video)
• Notifications — to let you know about reactions and friend activity
• Face ID / Touch ID (optional) — to keep your posts and friends list private on a shared device

Grounders is a place for moments that belong somewhere. Use it for the trips, the spots, the meals, the views, the nights — anything that's better with the latitude and longitude attached.
