Groundwell is a grounding and earthing tracker for people who'd rather be outside. It maps the parks, trails, beaches, and riverbanks around you, times your barefoot sessions, and reads the live soil, sun, air, and space-weather conditions of the ground you're standing on. All from public data. All on your device.

• Time your grounding sessions with a calm, dependable timer that remembers where you stood and on what surface.

• Earn Earth Connectivity Points (ECP) and collect bronze-to-platinum achievements as you explore new terrain.

Groundwell keeps an eye on the Sun. When NOAA detects a notable solar flare (M-class or stronger), you'll get a calm, plain-language heads-up—flares can spark auroras a day or two later, so it's your cue to watch the sky. No hype, no doom: just the official NOAA reading and what it actually means.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY
Groundwell runs entirely on your device. No account, no sign-up, no ads, and no third-party tracking. Your location is used only to look up public weather and map data—it never leaves your phone for storage, because we don't run servers. The App Store privacy label says it plainly: Data Not Collected.

Removes the rewarded-ad trial and all advertising SDKs. Also fixes Apple Shortcuts so Groundwell opens each requested action without an unsupported URL-scheme error.

Fixes an issue that could cause Groundwell to close immediately after launch. This urgent update restores reliable startup while retaining Dynamic Island sessions, Apple Shortcuts, Grounded 100, and achievement improvements.

Grounding sessions now appear in the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen with a live elapsed-time timer. Added four Apple Shortcuts for starting, stopping, checking, and logging sessions. Join the Grounded 100 challenge and build a 100-day streak with qualifying sessions of at least two minutes. You can now skip the pre-session questions without losing eligible ECP. Achievement, location, streak, deletion, and short-session calculations are more accurate, including GPS clustering and daylight-saving transitions.
