## What is Group Expenses Light?

- My dad pays for me so get it from him.
- It's transferred to Tom. Get it from Tom.
- Add a Group and people all at once.
- Add receipts to any Group by selecting payer, payees, description of the receipt ,amount and an optional photo of a receipt.
- See all receipts in one place and tap on each receipt to see details about it.
- See each individual's share in each event by just tapping the name in People tab.
- Pay off the entire debt or even partial amount with a single swipe.
- Family members do not owe anyone including their head.
- All shares are payable to/from each family's head.
- Transfer shares to a different person: If Brian doesn't see Tom frequently and Tom owes Brian, the share can be transferred to a John. Now Tom has to pays the John and John will pay Brian. All happens without you noticing.

This app is very difficult to use and I accidentally deleted an event with out knowing, the menus are choppy there is not enough information on the item which you click to create an event. There is no clear way to determine who owns what to who and transferring shares is very buggy.

I have used this app with my roommates. I did not have to invite them to create an account(plus). I kept all receipts and at the end, we knew who owed who to the cent.
After we were settled, I still could see all receipts and payments. My brother joined us for a week so some bills had to be shared with him as well. I managed to transfer all my brother’s owing to myself  so he did not owe anyone when he left. I paid for him (plus plus). Everyone was happy.

I have been using this app for about a week for 3 events. I am amazed how easy it made the calculations. I did not know how to pay my friend’s brother at the end. Then I realized I can transfer that share to my friend. So she pays her brother and all I had to do was to pay her. Easy peasy.

Make sure to take photos of important expenses .This may come handy at some point and nobody will have a question. With a single tap, I was able to see why I owe someone. It reveals all receipts including any transfers, any pay offs or even partial pay offs contributing that share. Thanks to My Shared Receipts.
I can’t wait for the upcoming ski trip to handle all expenses with the group and best of all, it’s an offline app. No internet or inviting people is required like some other apps which spam people and beg others to sign up and log in.
That will be nice to add the ability to edit receipts or even people
