The Group Translate does not have English to English. Please!!! ### 4/5 — Session name needs to be editable *2023-10-11* I like this app. But, the app should allow the session name to be changed or the index should allow a way to have a quick identifier. ### 5/5 — The best captioning tool *2023-10-01* I have been using many different captioning tools to compensate my severe hearing loss. I always come back to this one from Microsoft. The ability to pick speech from noisy places or even from say 10 meters away is unbeatable. It’s clearly on a higher level compared to competitive captioning apps. An example is using it in the car. As driver to see this captioning working and picking up the speech from others behind me regardless of environmental noise is amazing. I would love to see one day Microsoft releasing captioning glasses. It would be a big winner. Glasses that are only for captioning, no cameras etc. The technology is all there. Now a matter of putting it together. ### 4/5 — Excellent yet Discriminatory *2023-09-26* This is the best solution for deaf people to understand what is being said. However, it contains a morality option that disadvantages us by masking profanity. We are just as human as you are, and we do not need to be as protected. Disable the morality code and make it an opt in. ### 4/5 — Great Transcribing App *2023-08-14* Great app for hearing impaired person. Translate words quickly and work better than many other apps. Questions: How to change font size and font color? How to stop this app from connecting to my Cochlear implant device? Serve no purpose if you can’t hear the app. ### 2/5 — Times out at 30 minutes *2023-03-04* I guess because it is experimental and free, it times out at 30 minutes so it is not useful for long meetings, unfortunately. The text font also cannot be increased or made large. If you are in close proximity with another user it gets confused who is speaking. Adds punctuation at odd times and transcripts have time stamps that can’t be removed. Not ready for prime time much like all AI speech to text. ### 5/5 — Great, but a question *2023-03-03* This works better than any other voice transcription app that I have tried. It is the only one that picks up the voices of others that are not directly by my iPhone. However, I noticed that while using the app, the volume of my hearing aid and cochlear implant is reduced.
