## What is GroupFund?

GroupFund helps you manage your group's funds efficiently: who has contributed, what each fund holds, and where the money went. Built for families, friends, and communities that contribute together, whether it's a family purse, a giving circle, or a school project.

THE IMPORTANT PART: GroupFund never moves or holds money. Members pay each other the way they always have, by cash or bank transfer. Admins record it, and everyone sees an honest, up-to-date picture.

FUNDS WITH A RHYTHM
Set up funds with monthly, quarterly, or yearly contributions. Every member's status is clear at a glance: green when up to date, amber when behind on the current period, red when there is a balance from the past.

ALWAYS KNOW WHERE YOU STAND
The home screen shows each member exactly what is due and for which period, so everyone stays on track without chasing.

PROJECTS WITH A GOAL
Raising for something specific? Create a project with a target, fund it from your group's funds, your members' shares, or outside donations. Pick who takes part, choose a project lead, and watch the progress bar fill.

IDEAS, TOGETHER
A space for what's next. Suggest an idea, let the group like it, and turn the best ones into projects.

CLEAR RECORDS AND REPORTS
Every payment has a date, a method, and a trail. Reports show what was collected, what was spent, and what every fund holds, all up to date.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Members see group totals and their own history. Only admins see individual records.

- Invite by link: add someone by email and share a link. They join your group automatically when they register with that email.
- Reminders: nudge a member with a notification when a contribution is due.
- Payment plans: send a reminder to selected members and let them tell you the date they will pay, so you know when to expect the money.
- Faster start: the app now opens straight into your last group instead of having to select a group each time.
- Various fixes and improvements.

GroupFund still never holds or moves money - admins record payments made outside the app.
