## What is GroupLoop?

GroupLoop turns "we should hang out" into plans that actually happen — with the friends you already have. No strangers, no feeds, no noise.

HOW IT WORKS
• Sync your contacts. GroupLoop quietly finds which of your people are already here (only when you've both synced — nobody gets exposed).
• Tell it what you're into — dinners, hikes, game nights, movie nights, concerts, play dates, fight nights. Your circles form around what you actually want to do.
• Make a board. A plan is a board: what, when, where, who. Invite people in one tap. Friends not on GroupLoop yet get a link and can say yes before they ever install.
• One big yes. Invitees tap "I'm in." It lands on their calendar. That's it.
• Show up. On the night, tap "I'm here." Showing up is the one thing that can't be faked, and it's what earns you RealCred.
• Suggestions and a thread. Someone has a better time or place? They suggest it; you decide with one tap. Everything else lives in the board's own thread instead of a forty-text group chat.
• Bring-lists and trips. Who's bringing what, and a whole weekend as one plan with several nights.
• Photos, kept among friends. After the night, photos live on the board — seen by the people who were there and those who know them. No likes, no feed.

ALSO INSIDE
• Spots — places rated by people you actually know, with a checkmark when they really went.
• Flicks and Watch Log — movies and shows, from your circle.
• Sounds and Comedy — the artists and comedians your people rate, and who put you on.
• Top Tens — your favorites, and where your circle agrees.
• Inner Circle — a gentle nudge toward the people you keep meaning to see.
• My no-go times — mark when you're never free, so hosts see it before they pick a time.

THE LOOP
Making plans, inviting your people, saying yes, and showing up are free forever. We will never charge someone to say yes to a friend. The Loop is an optional membership that unlocks the extra layers above (Spots, Flicks, Sounds, Comedy, photos and more). Right now everyone has The Loop free. When that period ends, The Loop is available as an auto-renewing subscription — monthly or yearly — and the RealCred you've earned by showing up can earn you months of it. Founding Membership is a one-time purchase that includes The Loop for life and a permanent founding badge, limited to the first 100 members.

WHAT GROUPLOOP ISN'T
No public profiles. No algorithmic feed. No meeting strangers. No ads. Your contacts are used to connect you with people you already know, never shown to anyone else, never sold, and you can delete your account — and everything in it — from inside the app at any time.

Built in Raleigh, NC.

Terms of Use: https://grouploop.app/terms
Privacy Policy: https://grouploop.app/privacy

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.

### 5/5 — The only planning app you need

*2026-09-08*

This app has developed amazingly and is such a high quality app. The design is cute, it’s so easy to add your interests, add your friends and find commonality. From there, it’s also really easy to make a group invite for any type of event and add your friends to coordinate right from the app. The app does a great job suggesting activities too if know you want to meet up with a certain circle, but aren’t sure what to plan. Great app!

### 5/5 — Makes being social so much easier!

*2026-09-01*

Making plans is no longer a hassle and I see my friends much more.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.3.1 — 2026-10-01

• Around Town: real things happening in your city, right under your boards. The Fair, a Canes game, a title fight. Pick one and make it a plan.
• Before you go: bag policy, parking, doors and rideshare, on the board for everyone going.
• Open nights: mark the nights you’re free, so friends can plan around them.
• Chip-in: the host names an amount, and one tap opens Venmo or Cash App to pay them directly.
• Invites tell the truth: the board shows who has actually heard from you, and you can text everyone who hasn’t, one at a time, from one button.
• Trips: stops on one night stay together, and the guest list carries over to the next stop.
• Fixes: the board’s back button always works, and the keyboard goes away when you drag the page.

### 2.3.0 — 2026-09-29

• Contacts sync now shows a receipt: what landed, when, and who you're connected with.
• My no-go times: mark when you're never free, and hosts see it before they pick a time.
• Send Feedback is two-way: Malique can write back, right inside the app.
• Founding Membership is available in the app.
• Fixes: the contacts screens scroll on every phone size; web-link yeses now count on the board; a heads-up when a newer version is out.

### 2.2.4 — 2026-09-14

What's new in 2.2.4
• Contacts sync now shows a receipt: what landed, when, and who you're connected with.
• My no-go times: mark when you're never free, and hosts see it before they pick a time.
• Send Feedback is two-way: Malique can write back, right inside the app.
• New circles: Play Date (by age) and Combat Sports (UFC, Boxing).
• Fixes: the contacts screens scroll on every phone size; a heads-up when a newer version is out.

### 2.2.3 — 2026-09-10

Fixed the invite. When you text someone a plan, the message now names the plan instead of describing the app, and the link preview shows what it actually is — the title, the time, the place, and who's already going.

### 2.2.2 — 2026-09-05

Plans that happen, with fewer things in the way.

• Co-hosts. Planning it together? Crown a co-host and they get the organizer tools too.
• Check-ins that show up. On the day, your board is right at the top of Home with "I'm here" on it. No hunting.
• Friends who were missing. If someone had you saved under two numbers, the app now checks all of them.
• Home city, asked once, so Who's Around actually fills in.
• Your Top Tens moved to the Loop tab, still free.
• Fixes: the back button on a brand-new board, and the profile puts your photos first.
