Customer service sucks ### 1/5 — Very Disappointing Experience *2026-08-10, version 26.11.0* My boyfriend purchased SeaWorld tickets through Groupon for a family trip but accidentally selected the wrong dates. The first purchase appeared to glitch, so he accidentally purchased them again. He contacted Groupon less than 24 hours later to explain what happened, but was told there was nothing they could do because the tickets were final sale. The tickets were never used, yet our bank was told they had been redeemed. One voucher shows “Redeemed June 22,” which was also the expiration date, while the other shows “Gifted.” I understand the final-sale policy, but the way this situation was handled was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. We will not be using or recommending Groupon to our family and friends. TRUST once they got your money they ain’t letting it go, ruined our experience and won’t be using to book large family get together any longer. I suppose the more convenient it is to use a deal, the more it cost. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. It was extremely difficult to secure an appointment, and when I finally did, I felt that I was treated differently because I had purchased the service through Groupon. At one point, it seemed that staff were reluctant to provide the massage, which made me feel unwelcome as a customer. Following this experience, I contacted Groupon to request a refund for my unused vouchers. Given the poor service and the amount involved (around $200), I hoped for some flexibility or goodwill consideration. However, my request was declined based on the 5-day refund policy, despite the issue only becoming apparent after attempting to use the service. I believe Groupon should reconsider how customer concerns are handled in situations where the quality of the service does not meet reasonable expectations. Loyal customers should feel supported when genuine issues arise. Overall, this experience has left me disappointed with both the merchant and Groupon’s customer service. ### 1/5 — Worst App I’ve used *2026-08-15, version 26.12.0* Couldn’t sign in on browser due to an “API error” not sending my email a code.
